Xander nods and puts an arm around her again. "Today was mostly fun." He smiled at her and yawns stretching a bit. "Certainly did a lot today. Hopefully we hear something tomorrow about this other kingdom..."

Catherine looked up at him which only triggered her to yawn because he had. She then nodded “I really hope so,” she replied, giving him a small hopeful smile. She wanted to know what the other kingdom wanted, and deep down she was terrified that it would be marriage.

Xander looks down at her and smiles. "You tired as well?" He holds her a little closer to him. "I could use sleep from the past couple of days of rough sleep. My spies work pretty fast so they should be coming back with some information soon."

Catherine smiled up at him and nodded once more “A little, though like usual, I don’t really want to go home.” she said, still looking up at him. She listened to him speak before she spoke again “Rough sleep?” she asked curiously “Oh that’s good, I hope they do return soon.” she said, hoping that they did and that the king heard back soon. She slipped an arm around his middle, keeping herself close to his side.

"Well I know you have to go home, but you always could stay here if you wanted. Also I have been dealing with some bad nights of sleep not sure why..." He tries to think why but isn't coming up with anything. "They will return soon, this is all quite so weird still. We haven't even been aggressive towards the other kingdoms and have traded to them all before so if anything we are trying to stay away from chaos."

Catherine couldn’t help but be enticed by the option of staying there for the night, mostly because she liked the idea of being with Xander longer. She looked back at him at his mention of his sleeping habits and shrugged “Have you been having any specific nightmares, maybe something is bothering you,” she offered, wondering if he was stressed about anything that may be plaguing his dreams. She then nodded “I wonder what their possible motive is, if they have one anyway. Isn’t that usually how these things work? They usually have a motive?” she asked, not quite knowing how kingdoms’ interactions worked.

Xander rubs his eyes and looked at her. "Hmm well it was about you, generally been worrying about your safely recently even though you tell you'll be fine." Xander's face looks away and his face is a bit red. "Generally they have motives. I am not sure what theirs would be, they are pretty violent they could just want to attack us because they just want to."

Catherine blinked for a second, surprised that it was her that he was worrying about. “Well, I’m okay though.” she replied, remaining close to his side with a little smile, finding it cute that he worried. “I wonder, if I stayed here, would you sleep better?” she asked as she watched his face for a reaction. She nodded in response to his words “Yeah I suppose they could be.” she agreed, placing her head down on his shoulder once more.

"I know your alright, just things have been happening that caused you to not be so alright, which is why I worry." He looked at her listening to her talking about staying here. "I am not sure if I would or not. We could try but what about your mother..?" Xander smiles slightly at the thought, while also being sort of nervous about it.

Catherine nodded as he spoke, she could understand why that would make him worry. She squeezed his hand gently to reassure him before she smiled again “She’ll be okay,” she said and followed it with a shrug. “Sometimes I go to sleep before she gets home, so she shouldn’t worry,” she added as she looked at him again.
