I am so excited, I ended day 1 of my cake making fiasco and am waking up bright and early for day 2 tomorrow morning. I really thought my cake was going to turn out super crappy, but now I am delighted since I actually found a small bag of gum paste at Walmart tonight :] Eh, I doubt my cake will beat out anyone else's, but at least I tried and had a really fun time making it ^_^

Sorry if I've missed this somewhere in the FAQ.
Both me and my sister want to join the contest, so let's just say that I want to make my cake a picture of a certain CS dog, and my sister wants to make a cake with a picture of a different CS dog. Would it be okay of the cake style/design is similar (as well as decoration, etc.)?
