Xander looked around then at Catherine and he quickly put his arms around Catherine and started walk with her to a safer location. "Sorry about that Catherine. It seems I might of put you in more danger that I would have imagined. This is all my fault." Xander feels bad for Catherine and feel that she is not really safe with him. He continues to hold until we reach inside the castle.

Catherine slipped her arms around him and buried her head for a moment before they started walking again. She shook her head and looked up at him “N-no it’s okay, you didn’t know.” she stammered, brushing loose strands from her face. Though she was now safer than before, her heart was still racing from the frightening occurrence.

When they reach the castle he is glad that Catherine would be safe. "This isn't ok Catherine.. This is all my fault." He paces back and forth and is stressed and he runs his hand through his hair. "I put you in risk, I didn't think they would just show up and threaten like this."

Catherine frowned softly as she watched him pace and hated seeing him upset like this. After a little bit of watching him pace, she grabbed one of his hands gently to try and stop him “Xander, stop.” she murmured before hugging herself against him, hoping a hug might comfort him. “Don’t be so hard on yourself, you didn’t know.” she added softly as she looked up at him with a frown.

Xander stopped pacing when Catherine took his hand and he looks at her upset and hugs her back when she does. "I would feel so bad if they had hurt you because of me. I'll calm down for you, I know how much you worry." Xander looks at her and tries to smile a bit. "Did you want to eat food. I am sort of hungry and want to not worry about this as much."

Catherine pressed a soft kiss to his cheek “But they didn’t, because of you.” she said and tried to offer him a little smile. She nodded at the idea of food, still needing to calm down herself, it wouldn’t hurt to get her mind off of it. “I could go for some food, I think we both need something to calm us down and take our minds off of it,” she said, blowing out a soft sigh.

Xander Nods and walks with her to the dining hall to go eat dinner with Catherine, opening doors for Catherine on the way towards the dining hall. When they arrive he moves a chair back for Catherine. He sits down next to her and there is already dinner on the table and some others eating here as well. Xander starts putting food on his plate then look over at Catherine and smiles.

Catherine followed beside him, her hands clasped in front of her as she walked. Once in the dining room, she thanked him with a smile for pushing her chair back before she sat down. She placed food onto her plate as Xander did it.

Xander tries to relax from what just happened. His hand a little shaky as he starts to eat his food. He looks around then at Catherine sort of paranoid. "There is so much going on the potential war then what had just happened. I am just not sure on what to do.."

Catherine looked over at Xander and took notice of his shaking hand, frowning softly. She felt bad about his mounting stress. “I wish I could help somehow,” she said as she watched him. She ate a bit of her food “At least you shouldn’t have to worry about them again,” she added after swallowing, hoping she was helping at least a little. They shouldn’t have to worry about them since she wasn’t about to spill any of the information that she knew.
