~ Sarikana Lesh ~
Sarikana Lesh looked up, seeing Victor walk over. "You were perfectly on time, as usual.," she stated, trying hard to keep her voice steady. "I'm fine. It's just... you know what my emotions are like. I can't control them." She sighed, standing up. This time, keeping calm became a lot harder. The petal on her lap burst into flame. Sarikana gave a light, humorless laugh. "You'd have at least thought I'd have gained a better control of my elements by now, though.," she added as the lights nearby went out. Darkness, her second element. Finally, she forced herself to sit down. "I hate this! I hate all of this! I just want to be
human." Again tears started pouring down her cheeks uncontrolably. Sometimes, she wondered how Victor, always so cool and collected, managed to deal with her.
He never burst spontaniously into tears, or felt rushes of anger or fell completely, utterly in love. Sarikana sighed again. How did Victor always manage to be so totally in control? She give anything to be like that. Sarikana shivered, pulling a coat from her bag. It shuldn't be so cold here, she supposed, but....
The pleasant scent of roses seemed to tease her, as if trying to rub it in how she should be enjoying the place, though she wasn't. Every bird seemed conviinced to chirp until Sarikana was forced to put her hands to her ears to block it all out. She hated this place. It was odd, how, coming in through the gates, her first instinct had been to love it. Well, she didn't love it now any more. She couldn't
stand it. Her bag clattered to the ground leaving all its contents to pour out. Sarikana didn't bother kneeling down to pick them up. She didn't care. Instead, she got to her feet and ran, trying hard to get as far away from here as possible. God, how had she
ever navigated this park? It was like a maze. She could seem to find head nor tail of it. Finally, giving up, she tripped and stumbled into a bed of lilies. She stayed there. She didn't
want to get up. She wasn't crying anymore - she was sobbing. Tears splashing down, down....
