Xander puts his arm around her and smiles "Heh I don't think I am an expert but thank you for the complements. Is there any of the weapons you would want to learn first?" Xander walks with her to the weapons and picks a few of the one handed weapons up looking at them closer.

Catherine watched him as she thought about which weapon she was interested in. “I’ve always been kind of interested in the bow,” she said with a shrug before slowly following him over. “And swords.” she added, looking up as she thought before returning her gaze back to him.

"Well those are both fine choices! This kingdom makes the best bows around." He puts down the weapon his is holding and picks up a bow and a barrel of arrows and moves it towards the training area. He pulls out an arrow and prepares the arrow and fires it at a target, hitting an outer part of the target. "Doing better overtime I guess, not the best though, but we are here for you!" Xander looks at you and goes to give you the bow.

Catherine smiled and watched him quietly, wondering if she’d even be able to hit the target at all. She looked back over at him and smiled again as she took the bow from him. She took an arrow and tried to prepare it like Xander had but couldn’t figure it out. “Uh. I don’t think I’m doing this right.” she said as she looked over at him with a soft embarrassed chuckle.

"That is fine! Here." Xander goes behind him and helps her adjust the bow and helps with the placement of the arrow and pulls the arrow back with her and lets her feel how it feels. "Let go whenever you are ready and don't worry about hitting anything, the goal here is to fire the bow conistantly."

Catherine watched him place the arrow to see if she could get it on her own the next time. She smiled lightly and glanced at him before focusing on the arrow, hoping she’d hit the target. She released the arrow from the bow and it whizzed right past the target. She blew out a sigh and looked at him “Thought I had that one,” she said with a little laugh. She knew he said not to worry about hitting it, but she was hoping she could.

Xander smiled and watched on how focused she was. He watched the arrow fly past the target and looks back at her. "Hey that was really good! I am sure you will be able to hit it next time!" He was quite proud of her being able to do it like this so fast. "Try again but stop just before your going to fire the arrow"

Catherine looked at him as she listened to him speak and nodded with a smile. She picked up another arrow and tried to set it like he had done, it took a little bit of retrying but eventually got it. She let out a breath as she focused on the target again and pulls the arrow back. She paused for a moment just like he said to before releasing it, this time it hit the target on the very edge. A soft squeal escaped her throat and she looked back over at him “Did you see that? I got it,” she said with a smile “Maybe I should be the assassin,” she teased with a chuckle.

Xander watched her prepare and watched silently. Xander watched as she paused then released the arrow and hitting the target. "Hey! See? Your a natural!" He smiled at her and laughed. "You can try to be the assassin it takes a lot more practice than just this. I am quite proud of you still."

Catherine smiled at him and looked back down at the bow. “Just kidding, I’ll leave that job to you,” she said and playfully bumped into him. “So what out of these weapons, is your weapon of choice?” she asked with a curious smile.
