Reedclaw woke up with a strong jerking motion. "STOP!" he howled with desperation. He realizes that it was a dream that caused the weeping. "I need some fresh air," he thought as he walked hastily out of camp. He eventually hears a rustling that he discovers is a cat (Leopard). Baffled by the strange encounter he just stands there and stares.

Leopard sits down after walking for a bit and hears rustling, his ears perk up as he turns to look at reedclaw.... he just kind of stares at him before shrugging and laying down to dig into the mouse he caught. "What are you on the run for? I could hear you better than a mouse could" He chuckles as his tone had a hint of joking to it before it turned serious again. "Staring is rude you know" He would then dig into the mouse without seemingly a care in the world if this cat attacks him or not.

Ear flicking towards the sound, she turned her head and spotted Palefur and knew it was her voice that called her name. Easily padding over to her, she gave a quick nod of her head in greeting. "I would love to go out hunting with you. I need to stretch my legs and the clan can always do with more fresh-kill." She added as it was a good idea to keep it stocked. As long as they didn't overhunt their territory then they would be good.

Seeing his mentor, he gave a swift nod of his head as he left his sister to go over to Squirrelpelt. "I'm doing good. Do you think we will run into anything interesting while on patrol?" He asked with a curious tilt of his head.

"You have to get out of here now!" He seemed to tense up at the sight of the Tom. "Scram before you start another..." he trails off as he realizes that he was being too loud. Reedclaw then whispers, "you're going to get us killed, all because of your denseness."

Palefur purred at Leafsong. "Come along, I'm sure we can teach Hawkpaw a thing or two" she mewed to her clanmate. The she-cat padded outside of the camp to hear loud rustles in the distance. "Leafsong, I think I hear something" her eyes dilated to slits and she unsheathed her claws. "Hawkpaw, stay here near the training hollow".

..... Leopard just picks his head up and looks at reedclaw. "Start another what? I haven't done anything and I'm not dense..... if it's a fight you're looking for then I can stand my ground" He rolls his eyes a little and turns his head back to keep eating his meal.. after a few bites he looks back at Reedclaw. "How am I going to get both of us killed? I came here to hide away from twolegs"

"Do you even know where you are? Driftstar will hurt you if you don't leave now!" Reedclaw looks down as if disappointed. "They are doing patrols today, they'll catch you eventually." He turns away and begins to walk away.

(Just for clarification, Reedclaw has PTSD so he doesn't know Driftstar is dead)

A light chuckled left the pale eyed leader. He turned to Brackenleap and Fridgepaw, "Of course, but we'll start with the basics, Honeypaw hasn't started any battle training yet due to the... unfortunate circumstances that just passed" he had paused, uncertain to how to word the past that had pushed him into the leadership position. He flicked his tail at a set of brushes at the side of the camp, "Foxtail slept out here last night" he meowed indicating the slight rusty form hidden under the brushes. He blinked and twitched his ear at Honeypaw, "Lets head out shall we?"

The rusty she-cat breathed evenly, her body relaxed in a peaceful sleep. Occasionally her paw or muzzle would twitch and her ear flick, as if she were dreaming deeply. Hidden from sunlight and nestled deeply under the brush, she was near invisible, her clanmates having passed her multiple times by now without noticing. Though of course, nothing could escape Icestar's eyes

Honeypaw noticed Icestar tense a little when he mentioned the training. "I'm just happy to be out and getting some fresh air instead of doing more den repairs" she purred towards him.

"What do you hear?" She whispered as she crouched down, flattening her ears as she tried to pinpoint the source of it. She stayed still, letting Palefur take the lead as she was sure the other she-cat would probably be quieter than her.

"I would like to learn something new," he said with a soft smile as he trotted behind her. "Maybe we will run into an enemy patrol. Although I don't want anyone getting hurt though." He added as an afterthought. He wanted to test his battle skills but he didn't want his clanmates sustaining injuries from a fight.
