((@Lennie- the guild has entered Hibagia during the Trayrian Eve festival, a festival celebrating the opening of spring. They were going to go and eat at the Black Stone Tavern, but Mayia decided to stay with the animals in the stables of the tavern as did Vethro. A man stole Vethro's horse, though, and some worked to get it back. I believe that everyone's going to go and eat now in the Black Stone Tavern; anyone; correct me if I'm wrong!! This is all that I know!))

( How can my Elf character jump in then? O.o )
Hello there. :) I'm incredibly sorry for my disappearence from this website, but I have had NOOOO time to do things like this. XD I've been so busy. But some of my activities will slow down come Winter, so I think I'll be able to come back. But there's one problem. This account is REALLY cluttered. :/ I hate having 43 pages of pointless/dead roleplays and things. And I've let it sit inactive for a while, so it is kind of pointless. I'm hopefully going to have the same username, so come friend me! :"D

(Sorry, my little brother stole the computer. :( )

Jak came up to Jax, patting his hindquarters as the thick horse snorted, his lungs heaving. Jax was a warhorse, intended to fast trot for days on end, not short bursts of speed.
"Let's get you back to the stables." he whispered, rubbing the spot between the neck and the shoulder, Jax's favorite sweet spot. He watched as first Mayia, then Vethro passed him by without a word. How rude, he thought, of Vethro to take his horse and leave without even an apology. Jax would be in terrible condition tomorrow, in no condition for riding.
"Let's go." Jak took Jax's reins, and lead the horse back to the stables, keeping his eyes open for any signs of danger. They arrived, and Jak decided to wipe down the dapple gray before putting him back in the stables. Unable to locate the well in the yard, he walked around to the side of the Black Stone Tavern until he found it. Drawing the bucket full of water, he walked back to where his horse was tethered, splashing it over the large horse. It took four trips to wet Jax down properly, and since the stable workers were missing, Jak didn't even have a curry comb, so he just used his stubby fingernails and worked them in a circle over his horse. After Jak was certain Jax was properly cleaned, he started to untie him.
"I can take him, sir." A stable hand appeared out of no where, as if he was waiting for Jak to finish cleaning up the monstrously huge horse. He probably had been, reflected Jak.
"Set him in one of your outdoor pens for now, please. He just had the workout of his life." Jak fished out a small gold coin with the queen's profile stamped on it, handing it to the poor lad.
"As you wish, sir." The boy led Jax away, careful to not let the horse drip water all over his uniform. Jak walked back into the tavern, trying to locate his guild.

( Edit: Nevermind. Please correct me if this doesn't sound good. >.< )

Ero checked the hat around his head once more, making sure that the fabric covered his ears well. Being an elf, he didn't want to stroll into a human town, his ears uncovered, practically broadcasting who he was. He didn't know what might happen, but just knew that it might not be the best idea. He glanced up towards the sky, putting his fingers to his lips. A single, shrill note filled the sky, alerting every forest animal around him. He wanted to make sure his falcon, Pita, was close by, just in case he needed to retreat from the village. Fingering the hat once more, Ero set off towards the road. He had no idea, or notion of what he wanted to do, or what might happen when he reached his destination, but he didn't so much care. He was tired of the boring days of lounging around in the wilderness. He almost smiled at the thought of him walking into a Tavern. Maybe that would be exactly where he would go.

A short while later, Ero made his way through the crowded roads, his head down, and his arms at his sides. He wished Pita was on his forearm, spreading her beautiful wings majestically. That sight alone warned people to keep their distance from him. But now, he was alone. He sighed, wondering if going into town would be a good idea after all. He glanced around at the people. He wasn't used being so close to humans...or anyone, for that matter. He spent most of his time alone, or with Pita, in the forest. Secluded and hidden in the trees. A small, almost sad smile spread across his lips at the thought of the forest. Funny how he had always fantasized about going somewhere far away, but here, in town, missed it fiercely. Maybe that's where he belonged....in the trees for the rest of his life. Ero shoved that thought away with an uncomfortable feeling. He didn't want that to be his life. The elf squinted, trying to make out the signs hanging on all of the doors that he passed. He was searching for the Tavern, hoping that something interesting might happen.

Re: The Knights of Rhodernia [Semi-Lit+Fantasy] CLOSED

Mayia gasped at the sound of someone, picking up the staff that she had placed beside her. She had quietly taken in a breath and wiped her eyes before she narrowed her eyes through the darkness of the stable. there was a window behind her, so her form was hidden by shadows as well as Hunter's, but she saw that someone had hurt themself. She put her staffs back in their place and stepped forwards, ready to draw her weapon if needed. "Who... Daeron?..." She relaxed a little, but she was still tense. Hunter immediately hid away in the shadows, ready to strike if Daeron did anything.

"What are you doing in here... S-Shouldn't you be with the-" Mayia cut herself off... She was keeping her distance until she saw the mark on his head. She took her staffs from her back and threw them to the floor. "Are you alright?" She asked, the worry evident in her tone. She let all her masks slide from her and revealed herself for once. She couldn't just leave someone in pain. She took a roll of bandages from the pouch she had around her waist and took a handkercheif from it as well. She use the handkercheif to dab the wound. "This looks bad..." She said quietly, her worried expression broadening bit by bit.

Daeron couldn't figure out who was there, until he heard her voice.
"Oh, Mayia, it's you. Are you alright? I thought I heard cr--some noises, and I was worried."
Daeron would rather not say he heard her crying. Mayia did not seem to like him, or anyone else.
His chances of winning her trust were slim enough as it was, so he let that be.

A stickyness was seeping down his face, and he remembered the rake.
He slowly reached down to take it up and set it against a wall, where it could do not further damage.
When he looked up again, he was startled to see the change in her expression.
During his entire time with the guild, her face had always worn a distant, unapproachable look.
"My...all those battles we've fought since I joined the guild, and I get my scar from an innocent rake." he joked, hoping to she would laugh.
"Thank you for doing that." He added. "I do feel a bit foolish, barging in here and wacking my head. I hope I didn't startle you too much."

(The guild members are going into the Black Stone Tavern. Mayia and Daeron are in the stables though. That's it.)

Mayia didn't say word until she had wrapped Daeron's wound with the gauze. After a little time for her to realize that she let her guard down, she sook her head and replaced that sullen expression, having a bit of a hard time because of the little incident that just happened. She took in a breath so that she could regain a little composure and looked at Daeron, bowing her head. "I-It's the least I can do... I did worry you after all..." She said quietly, mentally punishing herself for going soft at the sight of one little wound. She didn't laugh at his little joke or raise her head. She was too embarrassed about it and angry at herself. [i]You can't jus show your weakness... Hunter will be angry, I know it... I just know it![i] She thought to herself, shutting her eyes tightly and gritting her teeth before she looked up through her bangs, looking at Hunter through the darkness. No cold glare... Had she done something right? Did Daeron gain his approval?

Adrian Mallobourne of Albava

Quite soon after entering the city, the guild seemed to agree on a good place to rest and get some food. Adrian simply listened in silence, not having an opinion either way. He hadn't been in Hibagia before - heck, he hadn't hardly been anywhere before outside of his hometown - so he wasn't familiar with any other options. He simply wanted some grub to satisfy his growling stomach, which seemed to be getting louder with every sweet smell of the festival that drifted to his noise from the street vendors' carts.

As the group arrived in front of the gothic structure of The Black Stone Tavern, Mollobourne felt a little on edge, as did most of the other guild members it seemed. The building appeared omonous from the outside, but beconned him inside with delicious aromas, and lively music. With pursed lips, Adrian decided to push his pesimistic thoughts back, and joined the few others who had gone inside before him. Well, he tried to anyway, but his entrance was promptly halted by a large, strong hand, held up in front of his chest. With a slight growling exhale, Adrian sharply withdrew, running his fingers along a holster of one of his trustly knives, while giving the man a warning glare to not do that again.

"Woah, woah, whoa, now calm down there, sonny," bellowed a deep, hearty voice as the other man pulled back his blocking gesture. He then raised his hand slightly to point a crooked digit toward Quin, who had remained perched on Mallobourne's shoulder. The bird screeched lightly at the confrontation, and followed the finger with a wary gaze. "Now I don't know where you be hailing from, but 'round here we don't allow 'pets' in our fine establishment..." the stranger continued with the raise of an eyebrow.

Grumbling under his breath, Adrian understood why he had been denied entrance, and quickly complied. Unhooking a little chain around his hawk's leg, he patted the creature with the back of his hand and it took to the skies. Adrian wasn't worried about finding the bird later, Quin usually never went very far, and was quite well trained. The owner of the tavern then smiled and stepped aside, now seeing no reason not to accept another customer's money..

Without even a thank you, Adrian walked past him, finally being able to go in. A few of the patrons had been staring at him, but when he locked gazes with them, they quickly looked away. Shaking his head in slight embarassment at having been drawn attention to, Mallobourne peered around the room for other members of his guild. He sure needed a good meal now...

A barman approached the guild's table. Vethro lowered his eyes, and tugged his hood so that it drooped even lower. "I'll have the fish, please." He muttered, then turned to his guild. Not caring who actually heard him, he announced that he would find them all rooms.
He slowly got up and preceded to walk to the small brown desk at a desolate corner of the room. He cleared his throat as he approached, startling the young man that sat at the desk, his fingers set on a page in a leather-bound book.
"Excuse me, I would like (insert number of guild members XD here divided by four (four people to a room)) rooms, sir."
The man narrowed his eyes. "Aye, two of you will have to sleep in the barn-"
"Excuse me?" Vethro asked, settling his hand on the grip of his sword. The man at the counter swallowed hastily, his eyes darting around the room. He never let his eyes rest on Vethro.
"N-never mind, sir, all rooms are available, one man wanted some rooms for his, er, friends..."
Vethro drummed his fingers on the polished, dark wood of the desk. "Thank you. What numbers?"
The man at the counter scribbled onto a pad of paper with an ink pen. Then, with a horribly faked smile, he handed it to Vethro. Vethro took it from him and scanned the page, grimacing as he noticed the wrong amount.
"One number is missing."
The young man grabbed it from Vethro and wrote and additional number, aware of Vethro's stare. Vethro finally took it back and read it, satisfied.
He walked back to his guild and sat in his seat. "Rooms." He said, waving the sheet of paper in the air. "We will establish who-sleeps-where in a little while, after we recieve our food.
