Xander looked at her, smiling and nodding. "Yea I'll see you tomorrow Catherine. Have fun with the family time and the animals. I'll walk you out?" Getting a last little bit of time with Catherine before learning more about this other kingdom.

Catherine smiled and nodded “That sounds like a good plan to me,” she responded as she started to walk out, still holding his hand. She threw glance around the palace after they walked back inside from the balcony, blinking a few times so her eyes could get used to being inside again.

Xander held her hand all the way to the castle gates then he looks at her and hugs her again. "Alright Catherine.. I'll see you tomorrow. You want a guard to walk you to your house..or I could do it if you wanted." He looks at her sadly and waits for a response.

Catherine smiled a little up at him before she glanced at the sky then shook her head. “It’s still daylight, I’ll be okay.” she said and pressed a quick kiss to his cheek. “I’ll see you tomorrow Xander,” she murmured before slowly peeling herself away from him and headed back toward her house. She threw a glance over her shoulder at him before watching the area in front of her as she walked.

Xander nods and watches her a bit as she leaves, waving at her, then he turns around sadly going back into the castle and tries to find his father. When Xander does bump into his dad he questions about the other kingdom and what has been going on. "I have sent a message to the kingdom for a meeting. Hopefully we can talk about a truce. This was bound to happen eventually." Xander nods listening. "It is a good start for now I guess the best is to wait. I could send spies over to their kingdom. I know a few people." The king looks at Xander a bit confused on why he knows these people, but just nods and lets Xander send only one or two trusted spies. After the conversation Xander scratches his head a bit. "A bit awkward at the end but, needed"

After a bit of a walk, Catherine finally made it home. Her mind was filled with what ifs like “what if Xander had to go to war” and “what if he did have to marry someone else”. She huffed a frustrated sigh with her negative thoughts and tried to get rid of them. She walked out back to the animals, petting the cows before she made her way to her father’s horse who hadn’t been ridden in a while since her mother didn’t know how to ride.

Xander tiredly goes and puts on his dark outfit of stuff, saying screw the leather and just putting darkish stuff on and his cloak. Finding it much more relaxing and flexible, though a bit less safe and he puts the hood on and covers his face and heads out to find his spies He makes sure to have his daggers with him. Xander sneaks out through the secret passage way and head down into the town, avoiding guards and doing a couple of knocks on a door to a small building, the door opening and he walks in.

Catherine kept her cloak on as she placed all the riding gear on her dad’s horse. She felt bad that he didn’t get a ton of riding time and figured it wouldn’t hurt to run him a little since her mom wasn’t even home yet. She pushed herself up onto the horse’s back before walking him out of the barn and out of her backyard, into the woods that was nearby.

As Xander goes into the building it goes down to a darker more secretive area. "Well well well, look who is back! It took you a while prince, but I see you have returned." The prince looks at a mysterious man, the leader of this place. "Are you hear to reclaim this place? Or you still off on your own with your new little girlfriend up top?" Xander sighs and looks at the man. "No no this is still your little secret spy place. I am here because I need spies in a neighboring kingdom that is looking to attack us. I will need info on how they fight, how many and weaknesses and weak points of the kingdom."

Catherine let down her hair after letting the horse run down the trails through the forest. She gripped the reigns so she wouldn’t fall off, a light smile touching her lips. After a little bit of running through the woods, they broke out into an open field where she ran him around that for a little bit.
