Xander walked up behind her and smiled at Catherine."Hey Catherine." He moved to the side of her and figured she could be spooked by him walking up to her quietly.

Catherine opened her eyes and looked up at him, a smile touched her lips as she saw him. “Hi, stranger. How was your nap?” she asked, standing up from the chair.

Xander smiled at Catherine and rubbed his eyes."It was alright. Had some nightmares and woke up, then I couldn't fall back asleep afterwards so here I am. Still pretty tired sadly. " He sits in a chair near her and looks at the view then over at her. "I miss anything?"

Catherine walked to the railing and leaned against it once more. “At least you’ll sleep good tonight,” she said with a smile as she looked over at him. She then turned around at his question “You actually did, your dad came out and talked to me.” she replied, her hands clasped in front of her.

"He did? What was it about?" Curious on what they had talked about on the balcony. Xander gets up and goes to the railing next to Catherine.

Catherine turned to face him, placing her one arm on the railing. “Well, he came out looking stressed, and I asked if he was okay..” she started, meeting his gaze. “He started talking about how there’s a kingdom that attacked us, I can’t remember the name of what kingdom now.” she added, looking down as she tried to recall the name that the king had said.

Xander looks at her worried. "A kingdom attacked us??" Xander runs his head lightly. "This cant be good.. I hope we can work this out in some way other than fighting.." He rests his arms on the railing and looks down trying to think of ways we could deal with this.

Catherine nodded “I don’t know where we were attacked, I didn’t ask. But it worries me.” she said, looking down at her hands. “He mentioned a war, and I’m hoping that it won’t happen.” she murmured quieter as she looked back up at Xander.

"A war isn't what our kingdom wants at all, but they are attacking first so war is a possibility. Heck this could be good practice for me." He smiles slightly and laughs lightly bumping her into her slightly. "Though I hope we could talk about this instead of fighting. Though that also means marriage might be a thing that comes up..." Looking a bit sad and looking down.

Catherine looked up at him, half smiling at his joke “That doesn’t make me feel any better,” she said and bumped into him back. Her smile fell away as he mentioned marriage, and crossed her arms over her chest. She looked up at him and bit her lip gently “You think so?” she asked, trying to ignore a pang of jealousy and sadness that ran through her chest.
