Hey--I like this idea. I think the reija are Paxunium natives. Gerenna trees are native to Pekada, after all, and given the reijas' connection to them, it makes sense that the reija would never have lived on Earth. What if the reija had their own name for Paxunium, like an ancient name that only they used? What if there was a war between paxunians and reija soon after the former arrived? What if the reija are resentful towards the paxunians for invading their planet and choosing to live there? I think I've stumbled upon something great here. For that matter, there probably should be other species that were on Paxunium before it was renamed. Maybe I can make new ones just for that purpose. Yeah, this is good...I'll have to think about it a lot more.

You know, that's actually really sad. Realistic and messed up. The paxunians left Earth because the humans drove the coros to extinction. They vowed that no species would ever be driven to extinction by them, but look at the timeline now. There is only one reija left, because they have been hunted for their tough, heat-resistant skin and their powerful teeth and claws. As if that wasn't enough, paxunians are also killing the gerennae. It's sad. In the eyes of the reija, paxunians are just like humans.
