➣"I just came back from hunting." Casey replied as she walked down a couple steps before sitting down on the first few steps and watched Artemis sniff around the road that headed towards the highway. "I only got two rabbits and a squirrel. There wasn't much I could find." she added as she looked behind her watching Arthur close the door behind him. She listened to his question and glanced down and looked back ahead of her with a slight sigh escaping her lips. "People." the woman replied simply as she took a minute to recollect what they looked like. "One had red hair with blue-green eyes and she looked rather thin and weak." she said as she tried to remember what the other woman looked like. "The other girl had medium brown hair with dark blue eyes and she looked thin as well." she added as she gazed out keeping an eye on her dog. "If you do head out hunting then take someone with you or I can go with you if you'd like." Casey said trying to put aside the two women in the forest and think about what to do with them later. perhaps there is another group nearby and she didn't know about it for a long time.

Amelie had been walking for what felt like days, not finding anything but a random walker or two. She had begun to give up hope of ever finding any other people. She had been quietly trading through the woods for a while, and she decided that if she didn't find anything soon, she would just climb a tree for the night. Finally, after forever, she stumbled upon a mansion. She walked up to the door, hoping to find people who didn't ant to kill her. She quietly opened the door and looked around. "Hello? Anyone here?" she called out quietly in hopes of someone being there.

Makota whipped around at the sound of the door opening, drawing her bow quietly and silently. She peeked her head around the corner to see if it was a group member, and when it wasn’t, she turned the corner. With an arrow pointed directly at the intruder’s chest, she met her gaze. “Who are you and why are you here?” she demanded, thinking how lucky the girl was that her motto wasn’t “shoot first, ask questions later”.

Arthur stiffened with fear at the mention of people. For a moment he thought it was them but when Casey mentioned that they were women he knew it wasn't. Those vile people didn't let women be a part of their group. The male attempted to force himself to relax, but it worked only in the slightest. These new people could be dangerous and that thought did little to ease his mind. He bit his bottom lip, thinking about what to do now. He didn't want to risk going out alone, just in case there were more people out there, but he also didn't want to be in that stuffy cabin. "Would you be up for it? To join me on a hunt, I-I mean." His voice wavered at first but he cleared it up quickly to avoid questions from his leader. Arthur was now attempting to push down the thoughts about the new people. Besides, he didn't have much else to say on the matter. He didn't see it as his place to offer advice to Casey either.

➣"Sure, I don't mind." Casey said as she stood up to head back inside to refresh her water bottle and take out the small game out of her satchel. "Give me a minute to refresh." she added as she headed back inside and grabbed her satchel and made her way to the back of the cabin and out the back door to drop off the small game in a little basket to tend to later on tonight. Getting her water bottle out she replenished herself and refilled her bottle. Once she had done that, Casey added a few more arrows to her quiver and grabbed her bow before she made her way back out the front door. "Alright you lead the way." the woman said with a slight smile on her face trying to lighten the mood and called Artemis to tag along.

Amelie threw her hands up in defense, hoping to come off as non threatening, but she was recounting where all of her knives were, just in case this person was going to attack. " I'm Amelie, I was just looking for a place to stay. I've been alone for the past I don't know how long." She looked up to the girl, her own 5'2 frame not doing her any favors at the moment. "I didn't mean to intrude, I'm just tired of wandering pointlessly."

Makota eyed the girl as she spoke, trying to figure out if this girl was honest or safe to keep around. “How do I know that I can trust you around my people?” she asked, eyes serious. Her tone was less threatening, but had an edge to it. She wanted to make sure that this girl could be trusted and would pull her weight in the group. And of course, since their leader wasn’t here, she needed to decide for them if she was okay to have around.

She looked around the foyer area she was stood in, not sure how she could prove herself in this situation. “I’m not exactly sure how to prove it, but if it means having a place to stay and people to be around, I’ll do any test you want me to.” She really would like to stay in a nice place like this, so she truly didn’t mind doing whatever it took to prove herself.

Arthur sat down on the stairs while he waited for Casey to finish freshening up. He looked off into the distance, gaze not focused on anything in particular while his mind rolled over places to go hunting. The male couldn't make up his mind on where to go just yet, though. He had to ask Casey something before he came to that conclusion. Arthur stood when he heard Casey open and close the front door. He had managed to calm his nerves about the new people by this point. "Where and when did you come across those people?" He asked in an almost blunt manner, but with respect as always. He paused for a few seconds before adding, "I would rather not accidentally stumble upon them again."

Makota lowered her bow and placed her arrow back into the quiver. She slung her bow over her shoulder “As long as you pull your weight, we’ll have no issues.” she said and stepped closer to the girl and stuck her hand out to shake “I’m Makota, second in command here to the Leopards. This is our base. Any certain rank you would be interested in?” she asked, finally offering the girl a reassuring smile. She reached down and scooped Stark up into her arms as the cat came trotting out to investigate.
