why are they getting their warrior name/s early?:
Not once did ot happen that Darkpaw, instead of sleeping, went on a patrol at moonhigh in secret.
Nobody really thought anything of it when he told them that he had heard, and saw, one of the clan members sneak outside the camp every few days.
Once, though, he decided to follow them; the suspicious cat met up with another cat of a different clan, one that was acting quite hostile towards them recently.
Darkpaw overheard the cats planning to attack his clan's camp at sunrise. As soon as he made sure he heard it right, he bolted back to the camp and woke his leader, telling him about everything he had witnessed.
With his help, the clan was able to prepare for the attack in time, and when the traitor came back, Darkpaw was more than happy to show him that he was not welcome there anymore.

The leader awarded him the name Darkowl. This name came from a legend that's told to kits as a bedtime story about an owl they called Darkowl; it's about how one of the first leaders of the clan befriended an owl who then watched over the clan. They don't know whether it really was an owl, or just a rogue who decided to guard the camp... but nevertheless, it helps the kits sleep soundly, like Darkowl helps guard the camp at night.

why are they getting their warrior name/s early?: Late at night, Timberpaw was far from his camp in search of a midnight snack when suddenly he saw smoke rising from the forest trees. He moved closer to investigate and witnessed an abandoned campfire that was left by twolegs. Seeing that the fire was spreading quickly across the trees, Timberpaw ran briskly back to camp and warned his clan of the approaching fire. Helping the elders and queens escape to a nearby river, Timberpaw has shown great bravery, even when the fire reached the camp. And when the morning came their leader gave him his warrior name for warning, and ultimately saving the clan.

why are they getting their warrior name/s early?:
sneezecloud has always been very sickly. as a kit, her parents were told she would not survive, and even if she did she wouldn't become a warrior. as she grew older, she only became more sickly, and because of her frail state, the leader of her clan decided to give her a warrior name early so at least when she dies, she will die a true warrior.
