The calico stirred in the growing morning light, her lithe form sprawling out as she yawned the moon away from her whiskers. She wriggled herself into a sitting position and groomed herself briefly before practically bounding outside, barely even noticing the lack of other cats in the den as she meowed out a gleeful "Good morning!" to their absence.

As she stepped into camp, Halfleap instantly noticed Ebonypaw emerging from his den with a quiet demeanor. Hmph, figures my apprentice got up late too. No more time for rest though, our day starts now! Bounding over, Halfleap practically tackled the black cat with a beaming smile. "My little sootball finally decided to come out into the sun!" Her dark tabby tail curled into the warm air, an invitation of congeniality. Laughing quietly, Halfleap whispered, "I just woke up too. Don't worry."

She swiveled her head around to the growing group of cat's at the clan's center and curiously pricked her ears forward. "I think we should probably go see what's going on before we get started today. Everyone seems a bit antsy, don't you think?"

Robinwing is a brown and tan tom that puts his kin over everything else first, however he is always loyal to his clan. He wonders why Sorrelwhisper broke up with him and betrayed his son and daughter, and he is often depressed when he sees her happy with her new mate, which is also his brother. He is mad that his brother would do such a thing to him, and he just wishes that he could be happy and forget about Sorrelwhisper and the pain that she caused him.

Robinwing bit his lip as the name Sorrelwhisper went through his brain. "Shes outside." He said rather quickly. It felt like an arrow went through his chest everytime Sorrelwhisper was mentioned. Everyone seemed to like her, and they didn't understand how painful it was to had seen Sorrelwhisper choose his brother over him in a matter of seconds. He turned away, he bet his own nephew and niece hated him.

Ebonypaw laughed, shock fading as his mentor joked. He shook himself off and hauled himself up. "Yeah, you're right, everyone seems a bit on edge." He tilted his head, looking at his mentor and then back to the group. He began padding forward, ears pricked and listening astutely. Maybe I can hear what they're saying from here. Let me see. . . He angled his head, trying to hone in on the conversation. Unfortunately, he found nothing and looked like an idiot whilst doing so. Slightly disgruntled, he noted that he needed to work on it later. He looked back to Halfleap, slightly flustered.

harrierheart climbed out of his moss nest with a strange feeling. he shook his pelt to clear it of bits of moss, but it did nothing to help. he pushed his way through the entrance of warrior’s den, scratching an itch on his side as he did so by pushing against the entrance’s side. when he entered the camp, it seemed oddly... full. were there any patrols out? harrierheart has woken up a little late, so perhaps the morning patrol had returned already. he glanced around.
xx”hey, stormheart,” he said to the fluffy grey molly after approaching her. ”do you know if any patrols sent out this morning?”

Stormheart glanced over as she heard the voice of Harrierheart. The shecat shook her head and turned her gaze back onto the other cats. "I don't believe so." She mewed gently. "It feels as though a lot of cats have woken up late, including myself. I haven't heard anything of a patrol being sent out." She felt rather strange in that moment, as if something weren't right. The pit of her stomach grew heavy, something seemed to cloud her mind, but she couldn't quite put her claw on it. Something was wrong.

Robinwing walked out, unaware of the death of Rooksea. He walked towards the forest and sat down behind a tree, staring off into the sky. He missed his parents most of all, after everything he had been through and all. He didn't see any of his siblings, and was especially glad that he didn't see his betraying brother Smalltwig. He wished it never came to him hating him and Sorrelwhisper, but that's what happened. And he can't change that.
