A Glorious Comeback (1x! with *Adashi*)

"Not surprising." Rhys says, beginning to pick at his own food and the various fruits littered around it. Jack’s fruits are replaced with breakfast meats and raw Eridium for him to consume, laid around the plate like decoration. Rhys plops a strawberry in his mouth happily.

Jack sets the mug aside and looks at the arrangements in a bit of amusement, even as he purposefully plucks a blackberry off rhys plate to pop into his mouth, smiling in amusement and licking any of the berries juice from his lips before picking at the eridium bits first, just so those are gone from sight before rhys could get tempted by them.

"Rude." Rhys grumbles, but takes a few of the fruits to pass onto Jack’s plate so he wouldn’t steal them. He continues picking at his own afterward, until finally moving on to the actual food on the plate.

Jack chuckles softly in amusement, pressing a kiss to rhys cheek before he continues on with his food and the fruit given to him. Once he's finished picking at the eridium bits, he moves on to the actual food as well, humming quite happily and leaning against rhys once more.

Rhys smiles, leaning into his kiss before continuing to eat. He sips at his own coffee, before gratefully drinking most of it since they knew exactly how to make his own cup.

Jack finishes off his food pretty quickly, as well as a couple pancakes, regular toast and french toast, showing off quite an appetite at the moment.

Rhys watches him, just a bit amused before continuing to finish up what he has left. He’s pretty hungry as well, but definitely not to the extent Jack is. He’s pretty sure they left all of this food for Jack anyway, knowing how much he could eat. He finishes off his plate and then his coffee, happy.

Jack's pretty content with what he's finished off, especially after his second and a half cup of coffee before finally deciding to lay back down for a bit. A light, content rumble escaping him as he laid back and let the food settle first before he'd go listen to R&D ramble stupid ideas before going back to rhys to complain about said stupid ideas.

Rhys puts the tray aside and brings up his interface to check his calendar. He makes a quiet noise when he realizes his email has a few new messages, checks it and starts grinning wildly. “Got new intel on Maliwan’s next supply run. You still up for wreaking havoc on them?”

Jack lifts his head instantly, smile on his lips. "Always. Where we heading and when we heading out?" He asked with a grin on his lips before promptly picking up another piece of french toast to stuff into his mouth.
