A Glorious Comeback (1x! with *Adashi*)

"Your favourite TV shows are always being updated, and each episode it just keeps getting better and better. Your movies have the best sequels, but they don't go on forever and drag out, and end perfectly. You get what you want on a whim. And you never get sun burnt." Rhys finishes, as if the sun burning was the biggest issue.

Jack chuckles softly, turning onto his side so to nessle his head into the crook of rhys neck. "That does sound pretty nice." He mumbled.

"Yeah, I thought so too. That's kinda why I said it." Rhys replies, resting his hand on the back of Jack's head and running his hand through his hair. "Are you gonna fall asleep again?"

"Maybe for a minute." He mumbled after a brief pause, because he no doubtedly did fall asleep for a minute but was promptly awakened either by rhys touch or voice.

"Okay." Rhys says, amused. "You nap then, babe. I'll wake you up when breakfast is here."

Jack gives a soft little 'okay' as he settles against rhys side now, happily tucking himself against rhys with a gentle purr at the moment.

Rhys lets him sleep until breakfast is brought to them. It’s an assortment of breakfast foods, ranging from pancakes, eggs and bacon, toast and French toast. They even threw some Eridium on the side for Jack, and they got a pot of coffee and two cups for them. He thanks them happily, giving them a generous amount of credits before very gently nudging Jack as they leave the room. "Breakfast, Jack. Up."

Jack makes an unhappy noise, shifting around and trying to stay asleep. But it doesn't work because now he can smell breakfast and its waking him up more. Thus he gives up and finally sits up with a softly grumbled 'i'm up, i'm up'.

[mandalorian]

"Here, look. Breakfast in bed. Perfect." Rhys leans over to grab the tray with the two plates and rest it on their laps, then lean over to kiss Jack’s cheek. “You alright?”

"Mm. Just tired and hungry now." Jack hums, faintly leaning against rhys when their cheek was kissed, lightly nuzzling his shoulder as a makeshift pillow for a moment before pulling away slightly so to focus on the tray. First thing he goes for is the coffee and swallow down half a cup of it.
