Hawk snorted, “Sage, you handle Kirin from here. He’ll need to rest for a moment. If you smell blood then rush to get me.” Although Kirin needed her help she wanted to give Sage some experience, she didn’t expect any serious damage anyway. The mare sped up into a rough canter, following Marigold’s scent trail. The brown mare couldn’t let the loner run off with her injuries, what if a predator got to her?! “Let me help you” She called as the scent got stronger.

Midnight stayed at the back, looking on to see what Sage would do. Hawk was her 'mentor', but Midnight was also a healer. She trusted the reasoning of Hawk to leave Sage in charge, and simply stared on from the side lines, watching Sage, helping out when needed.
Kirin wasn't bleeding, and it wasnt a serious injury, so it must be fine. She just hoped that Marigold would be OK, but she wasnt going after her, she wasnt from Golden Hoof Herd

The black stallion watched Radiation look for water. "The recent rains will have left puddles. Puddles are harder to find from a distance but...that's the best option if you don't want to go back into the forest." He noticed a little glint through the grass a way down. Tornado waited to see if the other would get it.

Radiation's gaze drifted up to the sky as he lifted his head upwards. Carefully he followed the sunlight to the glimmering of water. “There’s a puddle right there.”, he said calmly. The stallion took a few steps towards the watering, lowering his head to get a little sip.

He let Radiation drink first before doing the same. "Ok," he said, "Now, let's get to the point. I rescued you because my herd was destroyed. I need new horses. Now, if you impress me you can join. If not..." He trailed off. "First of all, the forest is almost more dangerous because of the limited movement and cats. Everyone should know that. What else should I teach you?" He thought about it.

Radiation snorted, “No Idea...”. Radiation backed away from the puddle, looking around the clearing. “You could teach me...How to fight?”

Tornado nodded. He didn't want to have to save him again. "Okay. Your hooves are your most powerful tool. Make sure to use both front and back, just not at the same time." He looked around for something to practice on. He saw a sandstone sticking out above the field. "Let's go over there." He trotted over and said, "Kick it."
