Catherine looked back up at him with a gentle gaze. “Really? I don’t want to make you if you don’t want to,” she said as she bit her lip gently. She moved his hood a little and pressed a kiss to his cheek, happy that he had saved her. “Oh, you’re going to turn down this road. It’s the second house there.” she told him, pointing at her house.

"No it is fine, if you want me there with you I will be there." He smiled more when she kissed his cheek. He has also turned and reached her house. "Your going to have to open the door or knock on it or something.. my hands are full."

Catherine smiled and shook her head “Here let me,” she slid out of his arms. “My mom’s going to want to see me anyway, let me just...” she gently put his hood down so she could see his face now that they were at her house before she opened the door and held it for him. She was immediately snatched into her mother’s arms “I was worried sick about you, are you okay?” her mother asked and Catherine nodded “Xander saved me,” she replied, shooting a soft gaze back at Xander. Her mom let go of her and hugged him “Thank you for helping her,” Catherine’s mom said quietly.

Xander let her move his hood and he was surprised when her mom grabbed Catherine. He did a slight hug back when she hugged him. "It was no issue at all Catherine's mom. Could I stay here for the night just to make sure you two are safe? I won't be in the way or need anything." Sort of nervous but didn't want to ask too much of things trying to be polite in a way. "Catherine will need rest to heal her bruises."

Catherine smiled as her mom said it would be no issue. “Make yourself at home, help yourself. Goodnight kids.” her mom then went to bed, being that she was up later than usual. “Sorry, she’s usually a hugger, but I think it’s worse when she’s scared.” Catherine said, rubbing her arm slightly embarrassed. She motioned with her head toward the staircase “There’s two bedrooms upstairs,” she murmured, leading the way. She wasn’t sure if he wanted to be in hers or the other, so she just offered to him the guest bedroom in case.

"A bed won't be necessary Catherine, but thank you.." He followed her upstairs to make sure she went to bed and rest. "I am going to be staying up through out the night to make sure you are safe." He smiled at her, glad she was back with him and safe.

Catherine smiled at him before she reached her room. “Okay, but if you get tired Xander, please sleep. I don’t want you to not get sleep because of me,” she said in a quiet tone. Even though it made her feel good that he wanted to keep her safe, she wanted to make sure he got sleep so that he wasn’t exhausted.

"I should get fine through the night's even if I do get really tired i would rather stay up to keep you safe." Xander smiled at how much she had cared for him even if she was the one that needed rest to heal up. "If anything I can just take a name later on in the day"

Catherine nodded and gave him a gentle hug “Okay, goodnight Xander.” she murmured as she pulled away again. She gave him a small tired smile before she made her way back into her bedroom. Once in her room, she realized just how tired and achy she was.
