Catherine winced once her left, attempting to move his hands but they were too tight and they hurt. She wondered what time it was, and when they’d be leaving. She hoped Xander would be there. She sniffled and looked down, she wished there was a way she would have been able to get out on her own.

The guard arrives with the gold and stays near it to guard the money Xander goes in a hiding area nearby and waits for night.

Catherine looked up as she heard shuffling outside of the door and tensed, a small and scared whimper escaped her throat. “If you make a single sound out there, you won’t see the prince.” the one growled, making her tense. They lifted her to her feet roughly and fast by yanking up on the rope around her wrists. They walked her out of the house, holding the rope tight so she couldn’t move away.

Xander waited, looking at the night sky. He pulls his bow out, ready to strike. The guard still waits on the bridge near the money. "Where are they... I need to see her and save her.."

Catherine looked up as she noticed they had finally walked onto the bridge. She searched for Xander but only saw a guard, and her heart sank. She was hoping that he would be there. The two masked guys approached the guard, the one holding Catherine standing behind the other. “The gold.” he demanded, holding out his hand.

The guard looks at the men the picks up the gold and starts to hand it to them. Xander pulls an arrow out and starts to aim carefully. Breathing slowly and then letting go of the arrow to hit the guy holding Catherine aiming towards his head. He then starts to charge up to them, the guard bashes the man and drops the gold pulling out his sword.

Catherine was taken by surprise by the ambush, a scream of fright and surprise escaped from her throat. She jumped, her eyes wide as blood hit her face. She backed away from the guy in front of him, hoping he didn’t try to reach for her due to the attack. The men both hit the ground, the main ring leader(the one that was holding Catherine) didn’t get back up, the one in front of her stirred but was holding his head.
