name: Xianthe Q'ila
gender: female
age: 18
sexuality: panromantic asexual
species: xenomorph hybrid
height: 5'8" relaxed legs, 6'3" legs fully
extended
fandom: Alien (OC)
appearance: Xianthe is a rather unholy mix of
human and xenomorph DNA, and possesses
qualities from both species. From the waist
down, Xianthe is full xenomorph, with shiny
black skin, powerful hind legs, and a winding,
spiked tail. From the waist up, she is, ehm...
more or less human. Jet black spikes protrude
from her back and her arms turn less and less
human as they approach her hands, her long,
clawed fingers and the skin leading up to
them having the same shiny black hue of her
legs. Despite her physical abnormalities,
Xianthe's facial features are nothing short of
beautiful (if you discount her wickedly sharp
transparent teeth and mostly well hidden
inner mouth).
powers: due to not being a full xenomorph,
Xianthe's powers are rather toned down from a full fledged member of her kind. She has inhuman strength, speed, hearing, and smell, though her eyesight remains human, Her saliva, blood, and tears are highly acidic. Her human side makes her immune to the hivemind mentality of full xenomorphs, however, due to her royal xenomorph blood, she possesses the ability to influence other beings to her will. It's not nearly comparative to the Queen Xenomorph's near omnipotent control over her subjects, but useful in swaying arguments in her favor and getting people to lie for her.
personality: Xianthe is five feet eight inches of sarcasm and deadpanned jokes. Despite her terrifying mutations and possibly even more terrifying origin, Xianthe acts the way any normal young adult human would. She loves humans, despite their horrified expressions when they first see her, and she values her human side above her alien one. Xianthe is somewhat friendly, although she can be quite prickly at times. If somebody dares wrong her or any being she considers a friend, they better be prepared for her extraterrestrial wrath.
background: Xianthe was a poorly thought out experiment turned scientific phenomenon. A rather mad scientist came into possession of a rare swath of xenomorph DNA. Little did he know the xenomorph who's DNA he had come to possess was none other than the Queen. The scientist, determined to gain scientific fame, proceeded to attempt to splice a human embryo with the xenomorph DNA and create what was, in his mind, to be the perfect human weapon. To the surprise of his entire staff, and himself, it worked. The embryo grew into a baby with significant xenomorphic traits, and the scientist was certain that he finally had his one way ticket to fame. The one thing he didn't count on was his creation's intelligence and disdain for controlling humans. At age nine, Xianthe began portraying rather disturbing powers of persuasion. There was little she wasn't able to talk her way into, or out of. One time she talked the guards on duty outside of her containment cell to let her out. And that was the end of that experiment. Once free, Xianthe slaughtered each one of the scientists and lab assistants that created her and poked and prodded her for all nine years of her life and escaped the laboratory. Ever since then, Xianthe has made her living on the streets, masking her physical mutations to the best of her ability to avoid getting discovered and then later dissected by the government. Fortunately, her salvation came in the form of a small laboratory just a black away from the network of alleyways she called hime. The scientists that worked there had caught wind of Xianthe's existence, and had begun to search for her tirelessly. Now 16 years old, Xianthe wasn't about to wait for them to come find her. Instead, she came to them, confident she could make a quick escape if necessary. The scientists weren't like the ones who created her, they were kinder, and they offered to help her understand her alien side. Xianthe agreed, and ever since has been under the protection of that small group of scientists while she explores her alien powers.
