Does anyone have an idea as to where these cats could have come from? I'm gonna rule out kitty pets because it doesn't seem likely a house kitten could have survived wandering for miles

I was thinking that during the New Leaf celebration, when the hunters begin their competition, one of the hunters finds a kit. The clan tries to find it's parents but nobody can find a scent. They take in the kit, and a few days later, find another. A few more days later, and they find a third. I was thinking, after the third kit is found, the medicine cat gets a prophesy about the origins of these mysterious kits. What do you guys think?

I had a thought about the prophesy! I was thinking that these kits are descendants of cats who were once exiled from BeckClan before Starkstar was born. They will have lived far enough from BeckClan so they never crossed paths until one day they were chased out of there territory and killed by something. Something that BeckClan is unfamiliar

Possibly. They could overthrow the descendants of the exiles and keep a few alive to join their ranks. That way, when they threaten BeckClan, the descendants still alive recognize these kits (who will be apprentices by then) and try to convince the three to join them

Great! The prophesy can start around leaf bare so that the rouges feel a need to move on from their territory to find more beneficial hunting grounds. Aka BeckClan. To add a more dramatic flare, one of the parents of the kits can still be alive.
