Xander looks at her and smiles. "Aww,Thank you. You are so sweet. You are quite beautiful today." Xander started to lead then back to the castle, having walked for a while through out the town.

Catherine smiled up at him with a happy gaze before watching the people so that she didn’t trip or anything. She was so happy still about how everything had turned out, and being with him almost gave her butterflies. “When are you telling your dad? I’m quite excited to know what he’s going to say.” she asked as she looked up at him.

"Hmmm I suppose I plan on telling him today. I could tell him when we get back to the castle." He gets a little nervous but he does smile at her, willing to do this just for Catherine. Xander moves her closer to him to help keep her safe from tripping and people.

Catherine shrugged "From the way he talked to me last night makes me less nervous about it," she told him as she looked up at him with a smile. "I mean, he did say we would be cute together," she told him, an amused smile on her face. She hoped he wasn't too nervous because she didn't want to make him tell the king if he didn't want to yet. "We don't have to right away either, Xander, it's no rush." she told him, with a gentle gaze.

"That is true, it would seem he would be quite fine with it already. I should tell him today, there is no reason to hide the fact I am with such a beautiful woman." When the reach the castle grounds he hugs Catherine and kisses the top of her head. "Alright I'm going to go tell the king now."

Catherine hugged him back and smiled at the kiss. "Okay, I'll be here," she replied before she watched him leave. She bit her lip, still slightly nervous, even though she suspected the king would be happy about it. She touched the necklace gently and looked down at it before taking a seat in out of the chairs outside, it was too nice to go wait inside.

Xander walks into the castle, looking for his father. When he does fine the king he walks up towards him. "H-hey father! How have you been doing?" Xander is a bit more nervous now that he was here about to talk about this.

The king looks over at his son and smiles."Hello son. It has been pretty stressful for me, but I am getting by. Are you hear for any reason? You seem a little nervous." The king completely knowing what his son was nervous about.

"Heh, yes I am slightly nervous, I have come to tell you that I am now with Catherine, one of our helpers." Xander scratches his head, hoping his father took it as well as Catherine had said he had.

The king looks over at him, unsurprised by the news. "I know son. No reason to be so nervous about it! I am happy that you are finally with someone! I saw that you had given her your mother's necklace, who do you think gave that to your mother?" The king smiles at Xander. Xander feels relieved and happy that his father seems to have accepted their relationship and he heads out to find Catherine again.

Catherine saw Xander come back out and stood up, fiddling with her fingers. She walked to meet him “What did he say?” she asked as she looked up at him with a nervous smile.

Xander looks at her and he tries to look serious and upset. " He said that we couldn't be together and that he wanted you out of here... He is going to be calling the guards to take you away.." He keeps this up for a minute or two.

Catherine placed her hands over her mouth, and watched him, unsure of what to say. She thought she knew how the king was going to feel about, but clearly she was wrong. She could feel her heart rate pick up “I thought it would be fine, I really thought that-” her voice cut off and she looked down. “But I really like you, you can’t do anything about it?” she asked, looking up at him with a frown and sad eyes.
