the fae lifted her head and quickly rose to her paws. She looked to her leader and dipped her head respectfully. Her heart leapt at the mention of a hunting patrol. Skunkfur had always loved hunting, especially birds. "Yes, Thistlestar." The she-cat mewled with a smile.

After looking around a bit, Sootstripe stood up and walked out of the camp again, listening to avoid disturbing mentors with their apprentices. Hmph, I don't know why I didn't get an apprentice. Am I too ambitious and might influence bad behavior? She thought. [I]Yes, that might be why.[/I ] She romped around some more, her mind wandering on this walk. Sootstripe's ears perked up as she heard a screech. A sprint brought her to the behind of Nightcloud. "Oh, hello Nightcloud," She said. "Do you know what that mouse-like shriek was?" Sootstripe already knew the answer, Baypaw was having her hunting assessment.

Sootstripe is white with a gray face with gray streaks and blotches down her back. Her paws are white and her eyes are green. The back of her fluffy tail is black. She is sweet, but also a bit bossy and ambitious. When a cats seems nice to her, she will do her best to make that cat her friend.

The slim she-cat had gotten up and walked around camp. Just looking to see if she could be of any help. After looking into some dens she went out to find more herbs, just to stock up for any upcoming events.

Skyhawk trotted happily out of camp and into the forest. She continued walking for awhile. She wanted to fimd a good spot to go hunting. Somewhere where it will be easy with not too many places for prey to hide in or hide under, but she also wanted to make it a small challenge. And she was confident that Flightpaw would be an able hunter.

Flicking his ears he watched her to miss the shriek, but it didn't really bother him if she manages to catch an almost any prey she saw, narrowing his eyes when someone bumped into him "Sootsripe, what are you doing in here?" he asked confusedly "I need to look after my apprentice so I don't have time for you now" he meowed silently looking over at Baypaw once again.

She watched as her mentor caught his first fish to the water "I got it" she meowed getting closer to it, carefully so she could not afraid the fishes there. She looked at one of the grey fish swimming very close at the edge, staying still for a moment, when struck the fish out of the water, with a splash, as the fish was in dry lands she quickly killed it. She looked to her mentor "I guess I overdid it? Scaring all the fishes away" she meowed silently.

Pumpkinpatch perked her ears up as Thistlestar approached, extremely interested in whatever it was the older fae had to say. She gave her a curt nod, shot Softtail a small smile, and turned to the rest of the patrol, tail lashing "That it does little one. Let's get going." The tortoiseshell warrior gave her apprentice a small nudge and began padding onward, her eyes scanning the members of the patrol who'd already gathered, and shooting toward those who hadn't. She was grateful Thistlestar had stepped in to say something, especially since the whole clan seemed to be moving a bit slow that morning.

Skyhawk stopped at a small field. The grass was high, so she was sure small prey would be foraging here. But it would take quite a run for them to get to any hiding places. She sniffed the air, mouth open slightly to smell better. Yes she definitely smelled a few different things.. A mouse.. Maybe a rabbit.. Something else.. She looked over at Flightpaw. "Ready?" She whispered, trying not to scare the prey.
