OOC: Ah, don't! They're quite happy with us. They don't live in cages; they all live in big rooms and get to have friends. The cats are sorted by age, and we even have office cats that aren't adoptable, but they get so much attention.
BIC:
Mary yawned a little, showing off her dulled teeth. None of them were rotten or infected, but they weren't as white as they used to be. She simply wanted to keep Christina company. Maria continued to snore and drool on the bed.

Mary softly whined, shaking her head some. Their trainer loved them dearly, but he died very suddenly and his daughter didn't bring the sisters back to their home region. Maria was still grieving for Teddy. Juan had gotten everything ready and took Peppermint to the x-ray lab.
OOC: It's amazing, ahh. Like I said, we're no-kill, so these cats get to live here forever. Also, is Peppermint's leg broken/fractured/sprained?

(At least fractured, if not broken. It'd take a lot of pain to make her show such an obvious sign of weakness tbh)
Christina looked down, confused.
"What's wrong?" She worried that Mary may still be hurt, or maybe something Christina had done had hurt her.
"Are you okay?" She asked, knowing that it'd be hard to get an actual response. She had taken off her lab coat to be washed, and was now just wearing her green sweater and jeans.
(Ack, I wish we had a better shelter where I live)

OOC: Ah, let's be dramatic; she shattered that leg, lmaooo
BIC:
Mary looked to her collar, knowing that Christina couldn't understand her. It was a proto-type of a communication collar; their trainer had invented the collars so people and Pokemon could talk. But it was broken and the sisters didn't let anyone fix it. She sighed softly, laying at the woman's feet.

(Drama ftw. Also I'm gonna guess their owner was pretty famous, considering what a monumental achievement a communication collar, even a prototype, would be.)
Christina continued to pet Mary, and glanced at her collar. She looked at the ownership name, and connected the dots.
"Oh, you poor soul.." She said softly, gently stroking her.
"I'm so sorry, sweetheart..."

OOC: Yeah, he was. Plus Maria was a contest champ~
BIC:
Mary didn't quite understand at first until a few moments later. She knew Maria got upset whenever anyone said anything bad about Teddy. She had to stop her sister from picking fights. The Furfrou pricked her ears as she heard footsteps.

(okiedokie)
Christina looked up, startled. She didn't know exactly what to do. She made sure her ID badge was visible on her sweater, the food, the beds, everything was in place. She went back over to Mary, and scratched her head some more, but not sitting down this time.
"Sorry to startle you, girlie." She cooed to the furfrou, glancing back at the other one.
"If you're hungry, there's some food over there."

Mary simply dipped her head, moving to the food bowl. She was a bit surprised to see a Herdier burst into the room. He didn't seem to have an understanding for personal space, but he was rather harmless. Lusamine bent down to gather her Herdier so Mary could eat in peace.

(Sorry if I get my own OC'S name wrong, it's been a long day oof)
Christina let out a startled yelp as the Herder busted into the room, feeling her heart hammer in shock and sudden fright. OH SHOOT SHE'S HERE- Christina quickly stepped aside, leaving room for Lusamine to walk in. She didn't know exactly what to do, or say, oh geez this was embarassing she probably looked super weird.
(She's only good at talking and socializing when pokemon are involved oof)
