Aralynn stayed where she was looking up at the female heir. Taking the offered hand with her good one, the young women let herself be pulled back on her feet again. Though she didn't release the hold once up. Instead the queen let it hang relaxed in Akira's grip as a small smile played accross her face followed by a light hip bump. It was rare, well never really, that Aralynn dropped her useual seriousness and calm demenor to let her more playfull side breathe. In fact nobody knew this side of the teen exsisted. It being solely reserved for the blonde's present company and Akihito. "You know I'm the one that is supposed to worry about you all the time right? I hate seeing you fretting over me. I'm a big girl now thank you. Stop trying to do my job for me all the time or you will make me look bad.", Aralynn teased Akira swinging their hands a bit, "But you're right, this scratch has to be treated. I'll clean it while we look through books in the library, it must have something on apothecary knowledge and we have a sizable herb garden. Besides with three of us looking we should find what we need in no time."

What was he doing? Kenji reached for the expensive brown saddle from its place with the others. As his hand reaches towards the leather, his eyes focused on the pale skin there. His thoughts went back to her small hand clasped beneath his larger one trapped under fur and surrounded by her scent. He puffed out a breath and cursed himself. He gripped the saddle in his hand trying to understand where his thoughts were coming from. Maybe he was just thirsty- it had been awhile. He pulled it from the stand and slowly walked back to the girl with the curly tumble of fire colored hair. He moved efficiently and gracefully into the stall where his horse was kept. He strapped the horse with the proficiency of someone who had done it for a long time. While his hands were busy, he spoke to Jessika in a calm, even tone. "Have you been to Ember yet? The kingdom mostly composed of humans?" His tone didn't change at despite the obvious tension vampire had with humans and vice versa. He didn't particularly like humans but didn't kill them recklessly. Yet. He hopped onto the horse with a single sling of his head and guided them out of the stall."I have some business there and it isn't' far on horseback. It is a good place to look around and obtain the things you need or want. It would be nice to have some company there if that appeals to you?" He gave her a questioning glance as he headed out of the stable area.

If there's anything bothering you....you can always tell me." she threw in, still wanting to know exactly why Aralynn was hurt. " On another note, why did you say three of us? There's only two of us right now....Akihito is off helping out with our other issue...which, brings us to our other issue..... Me and Aki went to a cafe in town today....but when we got our food, someone swaped the blueberries for nightshade....and an innocent got caught in the crossfire. Aki is still with him, helping him out. That's why I can't stay long. I need to find them once I'm sure your ok.''

The redhead waited for the male vampire to come back, wondering if Kenji already had a woman...or man. Shaking her head, she steered her mind straight away from the direction it was taking. Brushing through her hair again, she waited with Carniss, the gelding staring at Zephyr then shaking out his mane. His tail flicked as he did so. She tensed a bit hearing footsteps, then realized it was Kenji as he entered the stall. She hummed softly as she watched Kenji with his horse, saddling him up then speaking to her again. She tensed at the mention of humans... then thought she might be getting thirsty again. Sighing, she shook her head then glanced back to him. “I...have never actually been there, but I’ll accompany you since you’ve suggested it.” she said. Getting up onto her gelding, she urged him to follow Zephyr. “You speak as though from experience. How many times have you been there?” she asked.

He continued to help Ronin along, though still didn’t know his name just yet. Hearing him managing to speak, though barely, Aki hesitated. “You...Someone poisoned the food.” he said slowly, though wasnt sure Ronin could understand...Not in the state he was in. “I’m...Aki, just Aki.” he muttered. Luckily, he spotted someone he recognized from the hospital, from his...from a relative’s time there. He waved them over, and they hurriedly helped him and Ronin towards the hospital.

For something as minor as this there's no need to visit the apothecary. It'll be fine. I can treat this with a little reading and can get supplies from the herb garden." The young women fell silent when Akira said she could turn to her if something was bothering her. She wished that was true. Had circumstances been different she would have shared with her sister. But the young queen couldn't. Aralynn had given her word to keep Duality's exsistance a secret as part of her end of the bargin and jepordizing it was not a goal the blonde had. The opposite in fact. As long as the man protected the futures of her people then everything in her power would go to upholding her promise. No matter what it took. However she froze upon hearing the blonde's report. Eyes widening with panic and fear the young women released her sister's hand to cup both sides of her face, eyeing her searchingly. "What!?", she snapped as her face twisted into several different emtions though the mkst dominate at the moment was fear, "Neither of you ate the food before you noticed the Nightshade did you?! Did you drink anything?! Did you catch what the person who gave you the food looked like?! What was the name of the place you stopped to eat!?"
