They do look like orchids, but violets would make more sense for flowers that bloom at Easter. Right now my yard has pink and purple violets blooming.

Yea there violets probably for spring themed flowers

Also if you look closely at the rat, there are only 5 petals, with 2 on top, 1 at each side, and one on the bottom. This seems closest to a violet, whereas the picture of the orchid has six petals, spread evenly all the way around (though of course not all the same size).
