He looked at his plate and messed with his fork a bit. "Did you want to go do some walking? It's fine if you have work you got to do instead.." He was thinking on what flowers she does like, not really knowing what it was and wished he had asked before when she was in the garden. Maybe he would get his answer walking through the gardens.

Catherine looked up at him before smiling “No, a walk would be good,” she replied with a nod. “Around town or around the palace grounds?” she asked before eating the last bit of her food. She continued to watch him with soft eyes as she waited for his answer.

Xander looked at her and started to think, even though he knew his answer already. "I would like to walk around the castle grounds, unless you wanted to wall elsewhere that is." He drank the rest of his drink then got up and stretched slightly, slight pain in his side caused him to flinch a bit.

Catherine nodded “That sounds like a fine plan to me,” she replied and got up from her chair after setting her silverware on the plate. She smiled and walked over to him before frowning when she noticed his pain. “Xander, are you sure that you are okay to walk?” she asked, once again worried about his injuries, as she had forgotten about them previously.

"Yea, I have been fine so far, but if I am honest I totally forgot about them when I was talking with you." He starts to wall with Catherine towards the gardens. Walking slower than normal just because he has injuries.

Catherine smiled and blushed a little “Well that’s good,” she replied in a softer tone. She followed beside him out to the gardens, her hands delicately clasped in front of her as she walked. “Well, it’s a very nice day for a walk, the roses smell heavenly,” she said, her gaze moving to the garden as she watched the flowers sway in the breeze.

"You like roses?" Xander happily walks with her through the gardens. He is also really curious on what she would answer, wanting to make sure it was perfect when he did tell her how he feels. Still a bit nervous as well.

Catherine nodded, looking over at him "I do like roses, I really like orchids too, but they're harder to come by." she said with a smile. She just liked flowers in general, that's mostly the reason she enjoyed working in the gardens here. The flowers were all vibrant and healthy. She looked down at her feet as she walked, thinking once again about their conversation earlier.

Xander nods and thinks about getting her roses when he tells her how he feels. "That is good, roses are quite nice." He continues to walk with her through the gardens. He looks around and just thinks on what he is going to do about this. "I enjoy these walks with you Catherine"

Catherine looked over at him and smiled "I really like them too, I like just spending time with you." she said, her gaze was gentle before she looked away. She could feel her heart quicken a little at the fact that he enjoyed their walks too, but why wouldn't he. She looked back up at him, she almost wanted to tell him how she felt like he told her too, but she was too nervous and bit her tongue.
