Xander played in the flute longer that he has before, being in the situation he is in he didnt feel like he could really train at all. So he tried to look in the bright side of things by playing the flute and maybe reading later. He hopes that he would bump into Catherine along the way, deffinally would make his day better.

Catherine has moved to dusting things in the upstairs hallway, as she neared the doors that led to the balcony she could hear the sounds of the flute leaking through the door. A small smile touched her lips as she listened to it while working, she knew that the flute playing was coming from Xander, no one else really played an instrument around the palace grounds.

Xander stops playing when he has to cough a lot, needing water he puts the flute down on the table and walks into the hallway and seeing Catherine. "H-hey Catherine." Struggled to talk then quickly and carefully went to get some water, going the pace his injuries would let him.

Catherine looked up as the door to the balcony opened and smiled at him. “Hi,” she replied, watching him as he walked. She frowned as she noticed he was still in pain. “Do you want me to get you something? I can get it for you,” she told him, her eyes flooded with worry. She watched after him, really worried for a moment that he wouldn’t get better but surely he would, or at least she hoped he would.

Xander turned towards her and nods. "P-please..(Him coughing)...W-water" He goes back into the room and sits down on a chair and waits for her. Feeling graceful that she is willing to help him, She have been a lifesaver. He continues to cough until he gets water.

Catherine smiled faintly and nodded "Sure," she responded and walked down the steps quickly but not quick enough to gather too much attention. She scurries past the two girls that she was suspected of being the gossipers from earlier, holding her head a little lower and hiding her face. She grabbed a glass and filled it with water before returning to Xander's room. "Here you go, how are you feeling?" she asked with a gentle tone, watching him closely.

When Catherine goes in and hands Xander the water he takes it and gulps the water down, coughing only slightly then stopping completely. He then is relieved and smiles at Catherine. "Thank you Catherine, I am not sure what I would have done without you. I owe you twice now." Xander gets up and lightly takes her hand and kisses it. Afterwards letting it go.

Catherine’s cheeks turned a deep red and she smiled, looking down. “Oh stop, you don’t owe me anything,” she told him, looking down to keep her face hidden so maybe he wouldn’t see the redness. “Are you feeling any better?” she asked, looking back up at him as she felt the heat in her cheeks go down.

"I am indeed feeling better." Xander smiled at her reaction. "I do feel like I owe you, you have saved me so much already. So if you need anything or want to do something with me feel free to ask." He smiles more at her being kind and liking her company.

Catherine smiled a little more, fiddling with the bottom of her braid. “Well, thank you, that is very kind,” she said as she looked up at him. She glanced at the door as she heard footsteps outside, not wanting anyone to think she was lazy at her job she figured she should get back to work. She looked back at him “I guess I should probably get back to cleaning.” she said softly, almost not wanting to leave. She smiled back at him “Make sure you keep resting, and drink your water.” she added kindly before she started to leave.
