Woooo, it's been a while since I have been here. lol Just came back to see all the beautiful plants tbh. Ever since I moved from my old apartment, I unfortunately had to give my plants away to friends and family because I knew I could no longer give the care that they needed.

Now, I surround myself with numerous fake plants to remind me of how lazy I can be hhh and I knew I couldn't stay away from them forever. Lmao

@galaxymouse thanks! im sorry about your plant taking a tumble i hate it when that happens, i've owned plants for so long, and i'm so clumsy that it's happened more times than i'd be able to count, but don't worry, plants are way stronger than we give them credit for - hopefully all of yours are okay! herbs are super cute, i hope they grow well!

@kingespurr welcome to the club! i love asters, they're super sweet little plants and really underrated too, it's always lovely to see folks who love the less commonly appreciated plants! i recently got some yellow alyssums and they're so lovely, they smell amazing! do you have any?

@smofir. hey smo! its good to see you around again! <3 sorry you had to part with your plants for a while but it sounds like its for the best for both of you (i'm sure you'll be able to surround yourself with real ones again soon + artificial ones are still lovely!) and i just use my phone mostly! a google pixel haha (though many of the photos in the past were taken using my Canon EOS 1200D!) <3

@lesbian probably robusta elasticas! especially ruby ones. i feel like i see them everywhere but they're still under appreciated. i got one a month or two ago and its doing great so far.

Welcome back! Aww, at least the plants you gave away have good homes! Fake ones are good enough if you don't know how to take care of plants, hopefully you can get started on taking care of some real ones eventually!

@eckvanet thanks! I hope they're doing well too haha (i think they are!) for your question: it depends on the succulent, most do enjoy being on windowsills though! Aloes for example need to be on a windowsill because they need 8+ hours of direct sun per day, but Haworthias usually tend to prefer indirect light or else they can be burned. you should be fine, but if you know what kind of succulent it is, feel free to tell us and we can try help a bit more!! good luck!

@luminescent. r. elasticas are so pretty! i totally agree with you on the ruby ones, and haha yeah for sure they're pretty popular at the moment but still weirdly underrated!! glad to hear yours is doing well! ^v^

@galaxymouse thank you so much! and as for herbs, they can have quite different requirements based on the specific herb but from my experience with growing only a few different herbs, they seem to enjoy being a little moister than some other plants & once they're a little older if you cut their stems it helps them to grow bushier and wider rather than taller (also with basil, if you want to keep your basil plant alive for as long as possible you should cut off any flower heads as they appear to encourage it to keep growing leaves!)
