Drake slowly reached out with his other hand, balancing on the tips of his toes, ready to react in an instant. He carefully felt around the Pokémon’s collar until he felt the latch, and undid it. Making sure to stay as still as possible, he set the collar on the ground in front of her, and backed off. By now Sun was up on the rooftops, and out of sight.

[Boomer]

Mary instantly whipped around and sank her teeth into Drake's hand. She didn't hold on and shake, rather she just bit and released. She snarled at him, barking angrily that he removed the collar. She kept half of her body over Maria as she grabbed her collar.

Drake winced, but did nothing. He held out his other hand, offering her the jerky.

[Boomer]

Mary smacked his hand away with her paw, picking up the collar and moving back to Maria. She stood over her sister and appeared to speak to her, but it just sounded like grunts and barks to the humans.

Drake frowned and backed away.

“Hmm. Well, I could have Sun knock them out pretty easily, but I don’t want to hurt them or the babies.” He said to himself, still carefully watching the duo.

“Maybe if I can wait till the aggressive one is gone, then I can try my luck with the more docile one.” He reasoned. He called Sun back, and walked away. After a few blocks he turned back, finding a place where he could see the alley but where he could not be seen.

Mary huffed as they left the alley. She laid next to her sister and flicked her tail. The man followed Drake, impressed with how well he handled everything. "Good job." he said, "It may take a few hours for the one to leave."

Drake smiled at the man.

“Thanks! When I first met Sun, we didn’t get along so well. I found him injured in the woods. He attacked me when I tried to approach him.” At this Wukong looked saddened, and Drake pulled him into a careful hug.

“I had to wait watching him for a few hours until he was asleep. I got pretty close and set down some food. I repeated the process until he let me approach him, and it’s history from there, I guess.” He recalled with a smile.

He nodded a little, happy that Drake took a long time to gain his Pokemon's trust. "We should shop for a while." he said, meaning that they should leave the area to let the sisters settle down.

Drake nodded.

“What for, and what’s your name. I forgot to ask. I’m Drake and this is Sun Wukong.” The teen said, holding out his hand.

"I'm Juan, nice to meet you." he answered, shaking his hand. Juan glanced back towards the alley. "If we hang around too much, they won't leave." he answered, "If we want one of them to leave, we have to leave too."
