Nobody knows yet, as it hasn't been hit yet.
But I'd assume it's 200 at the moment, that's what it normally starts at.

Is there a Limit of eggs per day?

There isn't a limit per day, no, but there is a limit for the event overall. We always have a limit for how many banners you can click, and once you hit that, you won't be able to find any more.
Last year the final limit was 275, but it can differ from year to year. Usually the limit initially starts out lower and gets raised later throughout the event, so for now I'd assume it is 200.

Jup^^ Animal eggs are collectible items that you can use to decorate your pets. They can't be traded in for prizes like the tokens, they're just cute eastery items.
We get a set of them every year, all based off existing pet designs c:

Animal eggs are less common than the tokens, so it usually takes longer to find one.^^ It all comes down to luck in the end.

I've found 16 of the rainbow eggs out of my 67 banners so far. None of the tokens appear to be any rarer than the others, it all comes down to luck^^ If you're in need of a certain egg colour and don't wanna wait, perhaps you can try swapping with other players.

How do I know if I’ve got all the outcomes? x

We have an outcome thread here that lists every pet and item and where you get it from. Unlike the archive, which only shows fully grown pets, the thread also shows you all currently known growth stages and newborn pet variations.
It is usually updated pretty quickly after new pets get released/new growths happen.
Other than that you can always check the discussion thread or the casual chat to see what kinds of pets/items people are posting c:
