Would anybody be interested in joining/ helping me create a semi-lit/ literate ancient Rome Rp? It wouldn't be mythological, just normal Roman life, though obviously some of the mythology would come into it. I just wanted to see if there was any interest before I started work.

YES! that is one of my favorite time periods.
I will absolutely join, if you start it. I can offer some input as well, if you like, I know a bit about it.

So, I just had an interesting idea.
Ever heard the saying about walking in someone else's shoes?
Well what if you had everyone make a character form.
Then you had each user draw a different character name at random.
They couldn't pick it, it would be completely random.
You would then have to play a character different than the ones you usually do.

O.O no way. I swear, you read my mind. I had the exact same idea a month ago, but I had wolves in mind. So yes, I would be most defineately interested.

Anyone have a suggestion for a plot-line?
{Just as a note, I'm not a huge fan of powers, romances, or plotless rps. Unfortunately that doesn't leave much.}

I have too many Satyr characters and nothing to do with them. xD

I'd be glad to make one, and make it a very solid rule that no one will stray from the plot xD

All across the globe, we're waiting on the world to change.

||.: Waiting, Waiting ~ A literate/semi-literate Role Play :.||

Everyone knows the song: Waiting, Waiting, Waiting on the World to Change. The world definitely feels that way right now. It's become the average thing. The world has been infiltrated by the three dominant races, those that wished to explore our earth when they knew that their own was dying out.

Now the fight has begun, and it's not at all the fault of the humans. The races are all at a fair advantage: all are having to do with the three elements, air, water, and the earth.

The creatures of the Earth are the Neko's. They are half animal humans with the ability of the animal that they're part of. They are extremely agile and very smart. They cannot fly, and they aren't good swimmers. Their appearance is somewhat like this: an average human being with the ears and tail of the animal they're half of. Their skin is generally pale and their eyes have a range of colors. The creatures of the Water are the Sirens. They have the appearance of the average human being until they hit the water. From there, they have a black, dark purple, dark blue, or red fish tail. They're gorgeous creatures, and, as they do in the legends, they can sing such soothing songs that their victims are normally hypnotized into drowning. Their appearance is normally deadly beautiful, with very rich hair that is normally wavy. Their skin can be of any shade, but curiously, their eyes are only shades of blue. The Faeries are of course, the classical winged human. Their wings can be modeled, shaped, and colored off of any creature. Since they live in the denser parts of the forest, they're known for their extremely pale skin, they're nearly as white as the clouds. Their eyes tend to be very dark green, blending in beautifully with their surroundings. They can of course fly, and they can also mimic voices with some pretty amazing talent.

So now, the world is waiting. The humans are caught in the middle as the three dominant races are fighting over who will win the new land when their own planet finally collapses.

Sometimes, though, there is the romance that is never meant to be. A siren and a fairy, a neko and a siren, the list of combinations goes on. And that's where you come in. You were born a Different. Different's are the offspring of two different races, some of which include a human.

This normally results in so much trouble, that sometimes the child commits suicide to escape it all. In this shattered world, though, death means nothing any more. The souls of those who died are able to revisit the planet whenever they please, and it's nearly as if they never left. The Different's parents normally get into a fight about which side they'll join until the child is torn apart.

Will you be a part of this? Will you help us?

Sample of writing: Prolouge for my rp- In a world of myth and magic, Hanyous-creatures with the ability to transform into the animal of their bloodline-rule the lands. They are prosperous, and live in peace. One day, however, a ship sailed into the beach and out came a furious attack. Magic-users where what they called themselves. They were human, but had the ability to use powerful magic without the use of spells or chants. They drove the Hanyous back as they fought against them, making them flee into the depths of the forests. The aincent trees offered protection, and the Spirit Guardians kept away the Magic-users and Hanyous that had joined their side. Loyal Hanyous, as they're called, act as spies and fight against their own kind. Many lives were lost. Finally, a treaty was formed. The fighting calmed, but never ceased. Now, the war is becoming more intense between the two races. It's up to you to decide...make a choice.
