Her eyes looked scaredy at the two strong looking young cat, getting a few steps backward when the tom started to get closer showing some aggressiveness toward her "...tresspassing? I am not tresspassing anything...this is a forest, free to anyone to come and go right" she meowed unsure "it's dosen't belong to anyone" she meowed silently.

Whitestar smiled and said, "Gotcha!" She sat down for a moment, the grass around her pressing against her sides. "I heard some crunching of the grass, it sounded like you were jumping," she spoke, "so I went to the source and followed your scent trail." Now that they had tried it out, Whitestar could start informing her of tips and tricks. "No sharp movements, only smooth and long ones. Sharp and fast movements will make much more noise," she said, demonstrating by hitting the grass quickly with her paw then slowly moving her paw through the grass the second time, "Try and walk around for a moment, making as little noise as possible."

Jaggedbreeze padded into camp with the rest of the patrol. They had barely caught anything. I only caught a stale scent of mouse, I didn't even get a single chance to catch something! Perhaps we shouldn't hunt over there anymore. She felt bad for returning with so little when leaf bare was creeping up on them. I'll catch double next time to make up for it!!

Owleyes watched Hollyheart get up and said to her, "Yeah, you better do that before grumpy ol' Pinetail claws out your ears." He watched her leave camp and he sighed to himself. He didn't like being alone and silent. Owleyes licked his paw and drew it over his ear, flattening down some fur ruffled from sleep.

Beetlepaw searched around for any sort of prey. He sniffed at the ground, and caught the smell of vole. Its fresh! He followed the scent trail as the smell of vole got stronger and stronger. A fly flew past his face, and he stared at it fly away. His paws urged him to chase after it, but he shook his head. I need to catch this vole and go! He continued walking and shortly came upon the small body of the vole. Beetlepaw carefully placed his paws down and got low to the ground. The vole was big and fat and clearly wasn't listening for predators. He took advantage of the vole's carelessness and jumped at it. His paws landed on it squarely, breaking its neck without him needing to bite it. He smiled with satisfaction and picked it up in his mouth, the juicy scent tingling his nose. Beetlepaw began heading back to camp. As he got closer to camp, the stale fox scent he smelt before got stronger and stronger. Foxes are getting close to camp. Beetlepaw didn't give it much thought though, and passed it off as they were hunting around. He continued on and saw the shapes of a couple cats in the distance. As he grew closer, he recognized his mentor along with Lakota. "Hey, Minkpelt and Lakota!" he called out to them as he rushed towards them. "I was hunting and caught this vole," he said through the body of it in his mouth.

Hazestrike returned to camp shortly after the other patrol had. In his mouth he held a small fish. He padded towards the fresh kill pile and dropped it from his mouth. Hazestrike swallowed the taste of fish out of his mouth. He paused and turned to Ravenwing, "Did you catch anything?"

"This part of the forest belongs to ReedClan!" He growled, claws sliding out. "You may explore parts of the forest that is on the other side of our scent markers!" He looked the she-cat over, guessing she wasn't a threat as she wasn't trying to fight him yet but he remained on guard. "Do you realize you would have had your fur shredded if you had wandered into our camp or ran into a patrol?" The fur along his spine slowly began to flatten but his claws remained unsheathed just in case he would need them.

Hearing Hazestrikes voice, she tried to remain calm as she turned her green gaze on the handsome tom. "Just a small mouse that tried to get a drink further down the river. It was honestly luck that I caught it." She dropped the mouse onto the fresh-kill pile, wishing they could have caught more but around this time, it was good to just have caught something. "Never been very good at fishing. I have a hard time cooking them with my claws since they are so swift and agile in the water."

Pigeoncloud stared at the ground as they made their way back to camp. He'd caught a scrawny mouse while digging through some brambles, but it was barely enough to feed a kit. The rest of the patrol hadn't had much luck either. The warrior had gotten so used to eating well, even for the majority of leaf-fall, that the reality of the colder weather was only really hitting him now he saw the effects with his own eyes.

Hollyheart smiled at her mentor. "Thanks, Pinetail. I have the best teacher a cat could ask for." She purred, waving her tail happily. Hollyheart wondered what it would be like when she was older, and supposed to get an apprentice of her own. That would mean Pinetail wouldn't be a medicine cat anymore though, so she was glad it was quite a while away.

Pepperstrike jumped when Oakheart spoke, and he looked up, guilt flashing in his eyes. He'd been caught up in his thoughts, and they weren't thoughts of a loyal warrior. Placing the prey he'd caught on the pile, Pepperstrike tried to smile, hoping his nerves weren't showing. "Hey Oakheart. I'm alright, for such a cold morning. The forest is quiet, but the prey still runs." He said, glancing at his catches. Pepperstrike knew he should have told Oakheart about Ayki the moment the conversation started, but he didn't dare. He only prayed the tom wouldn't notice the way he dug his claws into the ground, nervousness radiating from him.

Amberheart bristled, glaring at the cat. "Yeah, this is our territory, for clan cats. You should leave before we make you." She snapped, stepping towards the white she-cat. She didn't actually plan on harming the stranger, as she was just a regular kittypet, but hopefully it didn't get to that point anyway.

He walked back to the camp, not actually caring anything as he didn't catch anything at this hunting patrol, instead, he was being focused to look after his apprentices trying to catch a fish. He looked over to the fresh kill pile than to Adderpaw "Do whatever you want, for now, we will go out to hunt something else later on" he meowed to him.

He got to the fresh kill pile and dropped his fish into there, he looked over at Petalpaw, who walked only a few steps after him. Snorting as he noticed the small mouse she was caring, not many cats had much luck to catch actually anything.

She flicked her ears confusedly "a camp? a patrol?" she repeated shaking her head "so there are more cats than just you two? and I guess camp is like a...home for you?" she meowed looking at them. She was still very nervous, but more curious about this clan cat thing "I am sorry, but I thought wild cats live by themselves? traveling around, not stay nowhere for a long time?" she said.

"I don't know about that. You are a very bright and intuitive cat as well." He said before seeing a patrol coming back, his gaze landing on a certain cat. "Don't forget that I want you to do some battle training at some point. Whenever you have free time." He said before standing and exiting the medicine cat den. "Pigeoncloud!" He called out as he approached the tom. "I need to brush up on my battle skills and I was hoping you could help me." He knew he could ask any other warrior for help but he mostly wanted to ask him. It gave him an excuse to be around the other.

Pigeoncloud glanced up as his name was called. His eyes landed on Pinetail, and he smiled. "Sure, Pinetail!" He purred, forgetting about the unlucky hunt as he placed the mouse on the prey pile. "Where were you thinking of practicing?" He asked, deciding not to question why the medicine cat wanted him specifically when there were plenty of other warriors around camp who hadn't been on patrol.

He supposed he should talk to someone, maybe Jaggedbreeze, but a conversation with another cat sounded so unnappealing when he'd just had more of a connection with a loner than he ever has with a clanmate.

"I was thinking out in the forest, maybe near the area the apprentices train." He suggested with a flick of his tail. "Medicine cats rarely fight but I figured it would be good idea to make sure that my fighting skills are still good." He said as he turned and headed for the entrance to camp. "Thanks for doing this." It was a relief that Pigeoncloud had agreed to do this with him.

As he was talking he subconsciously stepped closer to the tom, and their pelts brushed, sending tingles through Pigeoncloud's fur. It took all his will power not to jump away out of embarrassmnet. Just act natural.

Feeling their pelts brush together, he tried not to stiffen and act like he hadn't noticed. It was hard but he managed to keep a straight face. "I told Hollyheart to get some practice as well. You never know when we might have to defend ourselves." If anything happened while she was out collecting herbs, she may need to fight back. Despite his attitude and cold demeanor at times, he did care about her as they got along quite well. "And don't go easy one me just because I'm a medicine cat. I have had basic battle training as well when I was an apprentice." Though that felt like ages ago.
