once he was back into his territory, he made an attempt to slip away from the other cats. of course he'd get scolded later on, but he couldn't care. he'd much rather wander the forest and get his ears chewed off after dark than right away. ferretblossom wasn't sure he'd be able to control his temper quite yet, and he didn't want to be put on apprentice duties for his sharp tongue. he couldn't stop his mind from straying back to the handsome echoclan leader, despite how hard he tried.

"scandalous!" he purred, perking his ears and leaning forward eagerly. he had known there was something interesting in her past; angoratail didn't seem like one to have lived an easy, boring life. she had too much personality. "go on, angoratail," he encouraged. "were there kits? did you get caught? did you try to run away together, only to be dragged back by your duties to the clan?" his oddly specific question originated from a fantasy that had floated through his mind more than once, a romantic escapade with a rogue or skyclan cat that resulted in a tragic ending, and a life-long broken heart.

He paused, would it be better to go with his mentor or help maplepaw. He glanced back at the fellow apprentice, searching her gaze for an answer. He couldn’t lie, he had feelings for the calico (Maplepaw is a calico right?) apprentice. Maybe staying would improve their relationship.

The broad shoulder Tom nodded to the warrior. Although Mudsplash could be ridiculous the Tom was a fine warrior. After seeing that Mudsplash would take care of the intruders, the tabby would stalk off carrying the squirrel looking for any prey. He stalked into a patch of brambles, after catching the sweet scent of a plump vole. His green eyes locked into the creature, and he pounced onto its back breaking its spine. The small rodent squirmed around, before Hawkstar delivered the killing bite. He sat up, going back to gather the squirrel.

On his way back to camp to deliver his fresh kill he saw a batch of tawny fur. He snarled, was that warrior her again. As he stalled forward he noticed it was just a small bird. He snorted angrily at himself, part of him wished it had been the intruder again. Unexplainably, he wanted to see the fluffy Tom again, it was like an odd force was drawing him in. He didn’t quite understand why, but his pulse seemed to quicken whenever he saw the Tom. What was happening to him?

Fuzzyflight took a few gentle pawsteps forward once Blossompetal moved her tail, crouching down to look at Honeykit up close. "Hello . . ." She murmured with the same soft voice she used with her own kits. "She looks quite cold, and very hungry." The queen meowed as she stood up, sounding concerned. She looked around at the other warriors and swished her feathery tail thoughtfully. "If she's going to stay here, could we bring her to the nursery?" Asked Fuzzyflight, hesitance and hopefulness resonating in her question.

“I think that would be wise. Blossompetal you could still visit when you want. I’m sure Fuzzyflight won’t mind.” Shadowflight said, hoping Blossompetal would let Fuzzyflight take care of Honeykit. She still needed milk. “You’ll need to look after your own kits too Fuzzyflight. Just make sure all of the kits get milk and you rest up.” She knew she didn’t have to say it but she was curious how Fuzzyflight’s kits would react to Honeykit. Hopefully they got along.

"You're going to go with Fuzzyflight, Honeykit. Is that ok with you?", the she-cat questioned.

Honeykit nodded her head, a bit sad to be leaving the warrior.

he found himself dangerously near the border once again, pouncing on a large raven. the commotion was immense, the screeching caws from the bird echoing through the forest along with the tom's loud growling. after a long few moments of struggling, ferreblossom managed to crush the bird's spine in his strong jaws. "fluff-brained bird!" he snapped, lapping at a long scratch the jet-black talons had left on his face, dangerously close to his eye. of course he had to find the loudest bird in the forest; now the both clans probably knew where he was! with a soft hiss, he began tugging the feathers off the large piece of freshkill.

Hawkstar’s ear’s perked as he heard a raven’s call, he suspected that maybe it would led him to a nest. Quickly, he buried the prey and trotted off towards the disturbance. He stalked into some nearby brambles, his muscles rippled beneath his pelt. He walked warily into the clearing, knowing well he was on Skyclan’s side Of the border. He peered carefully at the tawny pelt from that morning. Noticing a thin trickle of blood he called out, “You ok?”. He sounded cold, and almost robotic, he tried his best but he though angrily that Mudsplash might have attacked the intruders on their way out of the territory.

ferretblossom's head jerked up, his eyes widening a bit at the echoclan leader's voice. "i'm fine, just a scratch from this hunk of foxdung," he growled defensively, nudging the bird. "it wasn't your warrior, if that's what you're thinking. there'd be more blood, and a body." he bit back the words 'and it wouldn't be my clanmate's', hoping to avoid offending the enemy warrior. fighting a leader with any amount of extra lives was a great threat, and he wasn't sure how many hawkstar had.

Hawkstar was about to lash out at the Tom for the unspoken insult but bit his tongue, answering with, “Yes, I’m sure your lifeless pelt would have been soaked with blood.” He sat down, peering at the Tom. He wanted to talk to the tawny cat but wasn’t sure what to say. “..”.
