The morning never made Wrenfoot feel much more than disappointment, but the morning came each day anyway. He couldn't stop it, couldn't prevent it, he could only greet it with a glare. Sitting up and giving his pelt a quick lick over, the tom gathers the strength to head out of the den and face the clan. By the scent of it, most of the cats had woken already and begun either hunting or patrols. He'd missed his chance to get caught up in warrior duties, but perhaps something else would arise. Or perhaps he was just assuming things...

She twitched and grunted a little in her sleep, dreaming of the forest and her past. Flying through the forest with her loved one beside her, his laughter echoing in her head as the forest got brighter and brighter. Her eyes open, knowing the dream well enough now to just enjoy the thought of wind in her fur. Shaking out her pelt, the ginger she-cat trots out into the clearing and glances up at the sky. A good day was ahead, she had a great feeling about being outside! Honeycloud was in camp, her ears flicking upwards as she questioned what he and Ivystar had planned for the day. Anyone with an apprentice would be busy, she was almost jealous to think of it. Moving along, she picks a patch of sun to settle down and groom in.

Leaving camp alone was frowned upon as an apprentice. He couldn't go anywhere he pleased or do whatever he liked without a warrior on his tail to hold him down. Eager, motivated and ready, his mind clouded with what could be and what would be when he was finally a warrior. Just outside the camp entrance, to avoid rolling into someone, he practiced some battle moves to keep his body busy while his mind buzzed. A distraction if you will, the large tom found little joy in sparing with the other apprentices since he'd put only negative thoughts of them in his mind. He wished sometimes he could feel bad about shutting others out, but at the same time he needed to be strong against his emotions. Growling under his breath, he tried upwards swipe move again as he kept finding it hard to keep his balance while forcing power into the move.
