Sorry, this might seem like a stupid question, but If someone had already submitted their application and decided they might want a new username, would the name automatically change on the form, or would we have to resubmit it again?

Its probably linked to your account/ID rather than username, since those things can't change. You can always check after changing your name and make sure it switched on the app, but I don't see any reason why it wouldn't.

To add, moderators can see all your previous usernames, but you could make a note in the "anything else you want to tell us" question at the end of the form if you think it would help.

There's no set date, but it could take a few week to a few months after applications close, depending on how many applications come in.

Oh my goodness! I just want to say how thankful and how excited I am that this opportunity has come up! I have a passion for helping people, it makes me feel good and I like it when it makes others feel that way too, so, I'm so glad I didn't let my nervousness get in the way this time!
