Other designs
Some more content that was too short to have their own individual post.



Mention Worthy
The following pets who may have a similar design to an existing one, but are a bit too different to be included in the full archive.


The "UR Lion" bears a strong resemblance to the "CE Galaxy"; but many people felt it was too different to include in the archive.


This unnamed Nick horse, though similar to the 2009 January dog, is too different to be included but share a similar design concept.


The 2013 Halloween ponies were dressed in some familiar dog costumes. Though the costumes are easily recognizable, they are costumes and are not part of the animal itself.




Sketchi's 2017 staff pet is based on the July 2017 PPS Dragon dog, but this is a more special case since Sketchi's staff pet is the very first (and currently only) staff pet to be based on an existing pet.


This cat bears a strong resemblance to the candy apple token from 2017, but it's been debunked by the artist, Yağmur.



Concept Archive
Sometimes a pet will have a similar design to another pet, but not necessarily be a design that was purposefully copied. There are also designs that are a general theme for a holiday that are worth mentioning outside the original archives.

The main aspect to this design is a black pelt with a skull with bones symbol on the pet. However, the 2009 Malk cats do not fall under this, since the design is repeated instead of only once.

"Cobwebs"

The main aspect of this design is the main color of the pelt is black, with cobweb markings. Sometimes red is included with the black and white color scheme.

"Candy cane/peppermint"

The main aspect of this design is based on the food called "candy cane" or "peppermint".

200K Dogs



As quoted from nickjr's post:

2. Potential addition to this section, in a similar vein to the CS board theme lions: The dogs at the bottom of this page https://www.chickensmoothie.com/archive/2011/November/Dog were released to celebrate hitting 200k members; designs are based on old CS layouts (tan: 2008, light green/orange uncommon: 2009, the two dark green commons: current CSGreen and I don't think there's a difference in what they're based on IIRC; I don't remember why there are two different ones for the same thing)

2016 Site-themed Lions
These Lions were released for Chicken Smoothie's birthday in 2016, each of these lions are based off of board styles.

1. In other words, the lion is based off CSSquiddy since CS Sea was not made until 2017's Lost city event.

Halloween Token Banner dog
In 2013's Halloween event, a very familiar looking dog was released. It's design is based off of the banner we see each year for the Halloween event!

GUN (Grown Up Newborns)
AKA Under the Blanket archive

The grown-up version of the newborn designs are not GUPPS, these are actually called "Grown Up Newborns" (Or GUN for short) due to having the SAME design as their newborn counterpart. Sometimes, pets don't grow EXACTLY as they are adopted newly born.

HOWEVER, not all pets are the same species of the grown up version of the newborn! It all highly depends on how their litter mates grew into.

On April 1st of 2015, Chickensmoothie released their first litter of blended pets! These pets are a combo of existing pets, and has been released annually ever since. Pets released before 2015 were simply spoofs of existing pets. They can be found here!

In Christmas of 2017, a new litter on the advent calendar seemed so familiar, but yet different!
They're actually additional outcomes in previously existing litters. This release only occurs in the annual advent calendar.

nickjr gives a much better explanation in this post:

Not sure if the community ever settled on a name; I've seen several names floating around, like missing littermate/sibling, long-lost littermate/sibling, additional littermate/sibling
