Karma looked around frantically for him, she saw Ginto and cried out, she ran to him. She looked around and saw the shade that had him, she snarled, "Leave him ALONE!" she launched into the air above the shade and fell on top of it, flipping it over. Snarling she quickly leapt onto it and snapped as hard as she could into it's throat. She held on, her grip getting tighter the more it struggled, she dug her claws into it's shoulders and turned her eyes to Ginto. Pain and sorrow clouded her eyes, she was intent of killing them all, one by one. She looked back at the shade, her eyes glowing with fury. Once she was sure it was dead, she ran over to Ginto, "Ginto! Can you hear me? Ginto, are you ok?"

The shade's eyes slowly faded until they were black, and soon it fell limply to the ground. Ginto gasped as the pain vanished, whimpering slightly. He blinked and watched Karma. "Y-yeah... I'm fine. Don't worry." he said calmly, but let out a yowl of alarm as a shade leaped, aiming for Karma's neck. He leaped over her head and grabbed the shade, clamping his jaws shut over it's muzzle. He got clawed, the claws making a long wound over his eye. He longed to scream, but kept biting until it went all limp. Then he turned only to get bowled over by another shade.

Another shade concentrated on Karma's mind, using the same move as it had used on Ginto. Darkness soon enfolded her, and the shade soon used it's powers to cause her as much pain as possible.

Karma fell to the ground with a thud. She clawed the air and watched Ginto save her. She cried out, once the shade penetrated her mind, she gritted her teeth and fought back as hard as she could, crying out at the pain. She forced her mind to try and push it away, she concentrated and concentrated, using all her strength to fight it. She soon lay limp, the pain overcame her. She cried out one more time and fought back with her mind. Then she remembered, she could not give up, "I will defeat you!" with the remaining energy, she pushed it away, she then tried it herself on the shade, blocking her mind she pushed her thoughts into it's. She placed one foot on the ground and tried her best to stand up. She snarled through the dust, she eyes glowing with fury once again.

Sauchin felt bit nervous when Leia leaned on him, but he let the nervousness out by sighing, which made him feel better. "I guess what he needs is time. Only that will tell how he really is." When he saw that Leia went to drink, he followed and gulped that sweet, cold liquid down and he felt his whole being becoming refreshed. "This really felt good. I am truly grateful, Sublimal." He stretched his legs, and then thought about what would happen. If it was always this calm in the forests, or if those weird creatures would come back. That made him remember. "What exactly are those strange creatures who walk on their hind legs? I didn't really get that. And are they dangerous?"

The shade chuckled as she pushed him away. He laughed out even more as she seemed to try using the same move against himself. It just wouldn't work! "It's no use. Your a weak serenche. You can't be used to anything." he turned and watched as Ginto was pinned to the ground by a group of serenches, taunting him and nipping at his sides. He wailed as they began biting at his throat, trying to cause him as much pain as possible. When he was too weakened to continue fighting against him and dropped limp, most shade jumped off him and stalked towards Karma, surrounding her easily. "Give up. We might let you survive." he said and growled.

Karma growled, she ran over to Ginto and started biting at the shades. Sorrow clouded her eyes when she saw Ginto go limp, she pushed her way through and nudged him, "Ginto!" she cried, she touched her nose to his and tried to wake him up. Tears slid down her cheeks, she whispered to Ginto, "Don't give up, I'll fight for you." she snarled, anger clouded her emotions, she only knew one thing. Fight. She felt strength flooding back, she leapt at the shades, clawing and biting, she would not stop. Anger fuelled her, she was determind to kill them all, or die trying. She would not give up, not now. She attacked them blindly, rage building up inside her, she fought stronger and harder than she had ever done, ripping them to shreds. She tore them up and continued to cause to every single one pain, as much as she could. She snarled, her eyes glowing.

The shades growled at her and overwhelmed her, covering her up completly beneath their bodies until she would have no chance at even moving. Meanwhile Ginto shrugged, his body screaming for him to get up and run while he could. He felt anger and fear as he saw that Karma was caught by the shades, all covered up. "Karma!" he called, as loud as he could. He got up slowly and jumped on top of the shades, clawing at the desperatly to try to get out Karma from the ball of fur, teeth and claws.

Karma struggled as they jumped on her, she screamed into their ears and clawed at them. She snapped everywhere, she looked into their eyes, "I will not give UP!" she yelled, flailing wildly. Karma snarled and spat at them, but it was no use, she had no hope, however, she continued fighting. She flipped herself over and saw Ginto, her eyes shining when she saw him. She snarled and pushed herself up.

Ginto saw that she was struggling and reached down into the pile and tried to grab her, only to shriek in pain as he was bitten. Clearly, the shades seemed to aim to choke her. He growled and bit down on one of the shades necks, succesfully ripping it away from the group. It didn't die though, and he shuddered, wondering if it would stand up and continue fighting. Luckily, he didn't, instead he ran off, wailing. Ginto grinned, but soon snapped back to ripping off the shades from Karma. It took a lot of effort, but finally he could see Karma in between the fur. He reached out and grabbed her, trying to drag her out.

Karma struggled more as she saw Ginto. She clawed their necks and bit into them, as hard as she could. She forced herself to continue fighting, for him. She held on to him and pulled herself out from them, she smiled, "You saved me!" she stood next to him and snarled at the shades, ready to fight.
