Gullstorm quietly sat at the back of camp watching as cats quarreled between each other. He didn't have much to say. He was shocked that any of their own would turn on another and murder them. The only time he raised his voice was to back up the cats against Stormheart. The she-cat had been rallying the most points against her, and Gullstorm thought it was a safe bet to get rid of her. Not because he didn't like her, Gullstorm felt quite neutral for most of the cats in Thunderclan (except for maybe Skyheart), but because have a mostly unanimous vote against one cat would bring less chaos later on than many smaller votes against the entire clan.

Oceankit stumbled back as he watched his Skyheart exit the den. He heard the echoes of clanmates cry's their fear scent was strong enough he could smell it from the nursery. He moved forward towards his sister standing protectively at her side turning his head he saw his mother move in the nest a little but not once did she come to comfort them or shield them from the fear filled voices of their clanmates. "It's going to be fine, it has to be fine." He thought in his head trying to reassure himself wrapping his tail around his sister's "it has to be fine."

It was quite apparent to Hollowflame what Skyheart meant by the nod, and though he truthfully didn't have the evidence to potentially do something horrible to another Clanmate, he stuck with his vote. Sorry, Frostbelly, he thought, heaving a sigh, lowering his head and refusing to watch the rest of the horrid scene play out; especially since so far his sister had the majority vote.

Skyheart nudged Hollowflame. "Hey, I'm so sorry about your sister Hollowflame. I believe she is innocent....She always had been." Skyheart felt her ears fold and she looked at her paws sadly. She truly felt guilty, but what could she do?

Whether intentionally or not, Hollowflame comfortingly brushed his tail up, then down, up, then down, Skyheart's flank, "No, it's fine. There's nothing you can do," He nodded his understanding, though his words caught remorsefully in his dry throat. He forced his next question out, "Who is your vote?" Though he knew Skyheart must somewhat approve of his own choice, he couldn't possibly imagine her voting to send her own brother off into an unknown fate, decided by another one of their siblings.

Skyheart felt her face flush slightly, and she looked at the ground. "Well, I'm not sure....I'm just gonna abstain for now. Though, I do think it was that rotten Gullstorm..." Skyheart narrowed her eyes at Gullstorm, her face scrunched up in hate. Out of all the cats, she hated Gullstorm the most.

frizzpaw was left numb by his discovery. he laid in the apprentice den for hours, the clamor and voices outside all mingling together in a haze. this isn't real life. this is just a dream, and when i wake up, it will all be over. he tried to close his eyes, but the sleep wouldn't come. it was horrific. it was sickening, terrifying. a nightmare come to life. but frizzpaw had to do something about it.
he took stiff steps, walking towards the leader's den. "willowstar. i-i don't know who did this, but..." his words trailed off and he looked at the ground for a moment, staring hard. then frizzpaw swallowed, and looked her in the eyes. "there must be justice. for them."
he couldn't say their names, but he hoped she understood. he didn't care who it was. someone must be punished for this.

pebbleshine curled tight into a ball. this couldn't be happening. she lifted her head and spotted her kits. how could she ignore them in a time like this? she pushed herself up from her nest and moved towards them. "it's going to be okay, we're going to do something about...this." she reassured oceankit.

Willowstar looked up at frizzypaw, her eyes softening as he saw the Tom, "I will" Willowstar uttered not wanting to think about the horrid thought of two loyal cats. she saw frizzypaw, he looked so distressed "If you need to talk, just remember that...I'm here" she meowed kindly, he had gone through alot in his life, and he wasnt even a warrior yet...but she had to stay strong.
