Tulipkit bounced about the den, eager to go outside. Her mother Ravenwillow continued to snore as Tulipkit prodded her once, then twice with her tiny paw. "Come on! I've been up for hours! Cherrykit got to go out, why can't I?" She ran over a mental list of activities she could do with the other kits that day: Moss-ball, find the pinecone, chase- maybe one of the apprentices would even play with her! She could barely contain her excitement as she waited for her mother to wake up.

Onyxstorm blinked as she heard about Littlepaw and Rosefeather. "Stay here, I'm going to help bring them nack ti camp," she meowed, before walking over to the patrol. "Shouldn't we bring the bodies back to camp so they can have a proper vigil? " She asked.

The now fluffed up tom encouraged the comfort the warrior was attempting to give him, but he flattened his ears as he looked out and heard the voices of the other cats within the clan. Their words and voices caused a chill to run up his spine as he looked up at the silvery-gray molly.

"What happened to Rosefeather and Littlepaw? Are they hurt?" The young tom asked before his ears swiveled and he let out a small noise at the words he heard. "Killed?"

Skyheart snuggled closer to Cherrykit. "I think your parents should tell you that young one." Skyheart felt a tear drip down her eye. "They are just, sleeping right now in Starclan, that's all.." Skyheart half lied, not wanting the kit to know the whole story.

The black molly arose from her nest and entered into the main clearing. "Dead?" she choked out. She strode up to her kit and summoned him towards her. "This is big cat stuff. I don't want you seeing this. Got it?" she told the tom, gesturing to the Nursery. "This is not something for kits to see."

"Surely he's in the apprentice's den?" She meowed to her brother, beginning to trot ahead of him. She peered into the den, calling for her other sibling. "Thornpaw? Are you in here?" She questioned frantically, her whiskers twitching and her tail flickering. As much as Stormheart wanted to believe that there was no possible way that a Thunderclan cat could have caused such uncertainty among the clan, she couldn't think of any other way that the pair of cats could have joined Starclan. There was a murderer in the clan... And if Stormheart could do anything to stop whoever this monster was, she'd do anything in her power. But first, she had to make sure that her younger brother was safe.

Hollowflame nodded his head in dull agreement, his brain thumping and ebbing with mind-bending ideas and theories. He had wanted to believe so badly that the two were out of camp someplace, doing something on their own accord; but now they were dead, strewn out for the rest of the Clan to gape at. So strange, too, that the pair had gone. Should it have been one cat, one random cat, Hollowflame would have stood by his conclusions of perhaps a fox, or some other mammal, but being a small family seemed infinitely suspicious. Nobody would want to get rid of the sweet mother and her offspring, would they? He forcefully shook his head and followed Stormheart into the apprentice's den, "Thornpaw?" He repeated, if not minimally quieter than his sibling.

Losteye couldn't believe his ears. A murder in Thunderclan? No. Not his clan. He sat in his sunlight, tail twitching in agitation as he watched his clanmates start to mumble names amongst themselves. Stormheart. Ravenwillow. Frostbelly. The very whisper of his son's name made the elder's blood boil and his whiskers twitched angrily. However he forced himself to remain where he was. If he started flinging fur, the situation would erupt into a battle. "Next we'll be asking to inspect everyone's claws." He muttered to himself, fury masking his fear.
