Rhys hums quietly and reaches over to pull Jack over himself, wrapping his arms around him and effectively trapping him in place against his torso. “I’m sure they’re fine, since they haven’t moved.” He muses, leaning over to kiss Jack’s temple affectionately.

Jack snorts a bit but settles pretty easily as he chuckles softly with a mumbled 'true' as he settles, tilting his head so to at first kiss his jaw, but stops, furrowing his brows as he lifts a hand and grabs his jaw,then snorts drastically. "Oh... oh my god. oh my god. Princess, are you.. are you trying to grow a mustache? A beard? Are you trying to copy my old soul patch bull? Oh my god what is happening here?" He laughed.

Rhys hums a bit, and tilts into the touch Jack offers only to make a noise of complaint when his jaw is grabbed. “Hey,” He whines, and pats at Jack’s hand gently. “Hey! So what if I am — don’t bug me about it, Jack!” He whines louder, tilting his head away to refuse to let Jack look further. He brings his mechanical up to rub his jaw self consciously. “I’m just trying something different.”

Jack can't help but laugh even harder, pressing his face into rhys chest to try and muffle his laughter at the moment so not to disturb the sleeping pile on the floor at the moment. His grasp even tightens alittle on rhys jacket as he laughs.

"It's not funny!" Rhys stage shouts indignantly, face flushing as he watches Jack completely break down laughing. Even hearing the muffled laughter is enough to make a smile break out on his face as well, and he gently shoves at the others shoulders in a fake attempt to push him away. "It's not, Jack! Stop laughing!" He commands, but his words are broken by a laugh of his own.

Jack just snorts and laughs a bit harder at rhys attempts and when rhys starts laughing himself. It does get Junior to lift their head and give a confused, tired whine, but after a few seconds, puts his head back down, no longer caring on why these two were laughing so hard.

Rhys tries to bite back a grin and even get a sentence out, every other word interrupting a laugh as he gently shakes his head. "I'm — I'm just trying something different for once, all of the vault hunters at Sanctuary gave me a stupid nickname and I wanted to prove them wrong about it by growing something out. It's — it's not funny, it's important and real to me!" He tries to explain, still laughing a bit as he rests a hand on Jack's back. "Stop laughing, you jerk. I think it looks nice!"

Jack managed to regrain his breathing, still snickering/giggling pratically as he looks at rhys. "I hope you know, they're just gunna call you a Caterpillar now. That thing your growing on your lip is not gunna stop them from calling you scrawny. In fact, i think the lip fuzz is just gunna make it worse." He retorted between his snickering and giggling at the moment.

Rhys pouts. "Don't call it that. And I need to make myself look more professional for Atlas, Jack. We're actually making a pretty good name of ourselves and I need to look like whatever people would expect from the CEO of Atlas, not some baby-faced, scrawny kid because that's apparently everyone's initial reaction when they see me. Seriously. I thought being tall would help, but I think it makes it worse."

"the furs not going to help! You look even more rediculious!" Jack squawks, bursting with laughter again as he pressed his face back into rhys chest. Thought the loud noise did get Zero and buddy to stir, both Eridian and Beast shifting around before the two got comfortable again.
