Small update for all who I moderate:

I've had practices moved around (not my choice), and now I only have one day where I'm entirely free. I'm also going to have more time spent on other things, so I will likely be a LOT less active. I will not be offended if you want a more active moderator. I'll be more open towards summer, hopefully. Thanks for understanding.

Vanessa looked up in confusion, her eyes widening as she pulled her Pokémon close to her in a protective manner, Moltres seemed to get friendly vibes and even started communicating with it. Vanessa looked at the Pokémon, inspecting it’s feathers-oh! The same one she’d picked up! “Oh, uh-hello there” she whispered, a bit in shock and fear, maybe it was mad she’d picked up its feather, it was beautiful to say the least.

Enjyre stood outside her professor's laboratory, chatting energetically at her first ever pokemon - a Fennekin. And a shiny one at that! She had never imagined her first ever pokemon would be so...so amazing! "We're going to explore the world together! Are you excited?" Enjyre grinned down at the silver pokemon, which she was holding snuggly in her arms. The Fennekin wriggled and barked softly in response, obviously equally excited.
"Perfect!" Enjyre smiled. She was glad that her first pokemon was this energetic! "But, you'll need a name first!" The Fennekin tipped her head at Enjyre as the trainer tapped at her chin contemplatively. Finally, "Jacira!" Enjyre cried, breaking out into a grin once more. She lifted the Fennekin so that they were eye-level, her smile growing wider as she felt the instense heat the small creature gave off warming her face. "How about it? Do you think you're a Jacira?"
The Pokemon yipped happily and licked Enjyre's face in response, eliciting a loud laugh from the new trainer. "Jacira it is, then!" Enjyre laughed, stooping to place her pokemon on the ground. "Let's get going then, Jacira! We wouldn't want to keep the world waiting, would we?" She teased, starting on her way out of town. Jacira yipped in response and took off after Enjyre. Within minutes, Enjyre and the newly named Jacira were racing into the wilderness surrounding the town, wanderlust driving them forward.

As you ender the wilderness you hear a strange sound, almost like bubbles popping.
Trees beside you start to rustle as what seems to be the wind rushes through them. As you start to question what it is a smal pink pokemon appears before you, it's a mew

Something about it reminded her of a story her mother told her long, long ago, though Enjyre couldn't quite place her finger on it...
"H-hello?" Enjyre said tentavively. Jacira kept close to her trainer's heels, wary of the strange Pokemon. "What's you name? And where did you come from?"

Vanessa looked up at it, sending it a small smile before her front door opened and her mother stepped out, seeing the guarding pokemon. "Oh it came back!" she squealed, "What?" Vanessa asked in confusion, "Oh this Lugia, it protected me this morning from a few sketchy trainers that tried to take growlithe and Squirtle" she explained, petting the enormous pokemon as Vanessa looked up in awe. "Hey Lugia, this is Vanessa, my daughter, she means no harm" her mother explained softly, calming the pokemon down as Vanessa offered to reach her hand out, seeing if it would let her pet it.
