He crouched near the lake's edge, watching a large trout swim too deep for him to reach. Finally, the trout swam towards the surface, and Pike dove. After a quick underwater struggle, he surfaced near the center of the lake with the fish in his mouth. He grinned as best he could with a fish in his mouth, when a sudden roaring sound drowned out his internal victorious shout. A large wave crashed over Pine, and he was gone.
