milkpaw felt embarrassed, she couldn't do anything without her sister toadpaw around. she shook a bit, feeling a vibration begin in her throat as she saw the molly staring. she began to stare back. her eyes drifted onto the molly's mixed coloured face, her evergreen eyes were admirable. the milky white molly flicked her thick tail, dragging her gaze away as she felt warm on her cheeks. "t-training is.... w-well... b-but boring b-because t-toadpaw always beats m-me." the molly stayed quiet before turning her gaze back to the small molly in front of her, trying to ignore her green eyes. "u-uh... h-how about y-your training...?".

downpaw looked at ferretpaw, forcing a soft grin to his face. "not really," he meowed, "just a hello, and a catch up... you seem, lonely sometimes, ferretpaw, no offense, so i was just checking in," he rushed himself, before closing his mouth and giving a nervous laugh through his teeth. "i am, very sorry."



the black and white tom looked over at meadowwarren, his tail flicking in annoyance, but he felt resentful towards himself. he turned his head and looked at berrystripe. his head drooped. "maybe it'll improve when berrystripe births, i've never seen a birthing before." he began to purr quietly, almost determined to help out now.

leopardpaw, tagged hazefeather.
leopardpaw waited impatiently by the entrance for hazefeather to return from the patrol. after her encounter with the medicine cat aspencloud, the young scarred molly was more than eager to find herself in company which could alleviate the burden of her scars. since the incident, leopardpaw felt deprived of her beauty. no longer did she value the mesmerizing contrast of the black spots across her bronze coat shimmering beneath the sun, she was too focused on the jagged, nasty scars which riddled her facial features, cutting across her face, an unmistakable flaw to her appeal.

Shortly after the border patrol had returned, Hazefeather stood scanning the camp for a familiar Bengal pelt. Leopardpaw had become the now-warrior's closest friend when they were apprentices together, and the point cat still spent every free moment with the other she-cat.

leopardpaw's glacial gaze snapped onto hazefeather's presence and the young molly sprang forward without hesitation, barreling into the older warrior. "i never thought you'd return." she commented, amused by her own rash action.

Hazefeather braced herself with a loud purr as Leopardpaw scampered towards her. After regaining her balance, she gave the cheerful apprentice a brief nudge of her muzzle on her companion's cheek. "I'm back now." She meowed with an uncommonly soft tone. "I hate border patrol. It's so boring." The she-cat scoffed while settling her hindquarters in a patch of sunlight, laying her lithe tail over her paws. "How've you been? Did I miss anything?"

He stayed in the distance so he could not disturb the young tom's hunting and he was outside of the wind too so the prey could not notice him. He didn't say a word, not moving a paw, only his ears and eyes were focusing to the worlds around them, blinking his eyes as the young tom caught the rabbit "hm? It was a good catch" he meowed silently "that's a big one, you can't carry more than that to the camp" he meowed softly.

She stalked the injured rabbit for a moment, before pouched into the long-eared preys back and tried to kill it, but for an injured one, the rabbit was a fighter. She bit the rabbit's neck, but still, the struggling animal got away from her "Oh you don't" she meowed running after it as the rabbit run away from her. The injured rabbit was not that fast as normal so she did have a very good chance to catch it.

Creamflower smiles at Horizonwind's compliment to her apprentice, purring. "You will have trouble carrying that rabbit." she said, agreeing with the tom. "I will carry it back to camp and if you wish you can tell the other apprentices what you did today!" Looking around, she sees Gingerflight is ready to head back to camp. "It looks like Gingerflight is ready to head back to camp." she said, grabbing the rabbit. "Lets head back!"

He quickly looked at Gingerfligh as Creamflower mentioned him "alright, I do need to train my apprentice today too, so let's go back then...I just got my squirrel up" he meowed to them, turning around to dig the ground where he buried the squirrel. Shaking his now dirt fur, before taken the long furred prey into his jaws and walked back to the pretty she-cat and her apprentice.

surprise was written all over the hostile tom's face, in his widened eyes and slightly opened mouth. "oh, uhm, that's awful... kind of you. thank you." the last words sounded a bit forced, but it was an improvement over his usual rudeness. "cats don't really talk to me much." shuffling his paws, ferretpaw gazed uncomfortably at the other tom. "i'm pretty mean, y'know. you never know when i'll strike." he still seemed pretty edgy, but he was making an effort to be nice.

doeblossom nearly fell from the tree as he reached around the middle, and he decided to rest there. he laid in the crook of the branch, his back against the trunk. maybe a little nap would be nice. he curled his tail neatly to his body, trying to force his mind to go blank. doeblossom was never good at this and, of course, it was a complete failure.
