Cookie froze and looked at the deer for a second or two. How was she going to finish this large beast off? She closed her eyes and bit at its neck and clenched down as hard as she could. After a struggle for a few seconds, the deer finally stopped moving and Cookie let go. Cookie looked at Keenan, expecting to be judged for that weak finish of hers.

"Wait, Symbol I thought-" Toby paused, knowing that she couldn't hear him anymore anyways. He sighed and slumped to the ground, missing her already. He held the antler, then blinked and knew that sitting around isn't gonna get him anywhere. He finally sat up, set the antler by his nest he made, then walked to the borders. He finally arrived to the West pack and sniffed around. After some time, he laid down. He then noticed Nova and Felix, and his pelt bristled. He sat up and watched them, he wasn't about to let them pass if they did happen to get close.

Felix spotted the other Male dog, nodding his head slightly, an attempt to let them know he didn’t want to come in. He started to continue to walk around, his nose towards the ground

Symbol felt bad for getting up and leaving so early like that. She promised herself she would get Toby something. She always did, anyways. She walked along the hunting grounds, waiting for a rustle or a noise in the bushes. She was out there for a while, waiting and waiting until she felt a tug on her tail. She turned around and saw two large badgers attached to her tail. She wagged her tail around, trying to get them off, but all that did was make them scratch her sides. She bit one of them and killed it, making the other one run away. She just sat there, several scratches on her sides and a missing tip of the tail, waiting for someone to notice she was gone.

As Athena lay her skull against his, Micah felt reluctant to say his goodbyes to her. Every time, their chats were fairly short-lived seeing as their friendship would most likely be looked down upon if it was found out. It wouldn't do either of them good to be caught acting friendly with each other, but her friendship was special to him. He had been taking this risk for a while, and he wouldn't stop now. Micah smiled as he stood up on all fours. "I'll see you at noon," Micah agreed, nodding his head. "It was good talking to you, Athena. Good luck with patrol." And with that, he stepped back and turned around, heading back to his pack's camp as calmly as he did when he arrived at the carousel.

The lack of an answer was a little unnerving to Nova. She looked confused, but then her ears swiveled as she caught the sound of another dog approaching. She turned her head towards the noise, and a brief look of shock appeared when she saw the new dog. 'He looks just like Micah! He'd know what to do if he was here...' The fact that there were now two strange dogs with her—very close to the West—began to scare her. The hair on the back of her neck rose up, anxiousness seeping into her eyes. The tall and slender dog was walking around and sniffing. The dog that looked like Micah was staring at them. The small collie mix took another step away from Felix, eyeing Toby warily. "Are you hunting?" Nova hesitantly asked Felix, her voice still devoid of any aggression. He was sniffing the ground. Maybe he'd stumbled near the West border by accident while looking for prey?

Athena watched him walk away as she too turned, padding back to her prey pile she'd caught and digging it up. She saw movement in the corner of her eye and her head shot up in alert, her fur falling flat at the sight of her own pack mate, she sighed out while picking up her two squirrels by the tails and a sparrow by its wing all in one-heading over to greet him. "I just checked the far border, nothing new but a small scent of fox-I'm sure you can take it down though-it smelt like an older fox-frail bones to say the least" she informed, picking the catch up again.

She managed to get up and waddle her way around. She saw Toby, and she tried to run to him. She tried to get up again, by no way was that happening. She just continued to sit there, waiting to see if he would notice her.
