falconcry trotted to where a mouse and a vole lay, stiff from the night of lying dead. "hmm... how about we go catch somethin'? a mouse or two. i don't think these are edible." he grinned at batpaw, flicking his tail.

ferretpaw glared at the other cats, growling bitterly before walking out of camp. maybe he'd go scare some kittypets.

doeblossom purred, happy to chat with the pretty she-cat. "i'm alright. could i come with you? i want to stretch my legs, or i'm going to get all hyper." he grinned, batting at her ears. "unless i'm just too distracting."

As the smell of clan cats grew stronger, Cricket grew warier, and the fur on his back started to stand up. Maybe this was a bad idea after all...

the tom purred happily and lead his apprentice from the camp, tasting the air. he made the choice to go in exactly the opposite direct that ferretpaw did, not wanting to meet up with the angry apprentice. "have i taught you how to hunt? did... she teach you?" 'she' was referring to the former medicine cat, falconcry's way of avoiding dragging up memories.

ferretpaw sniffed the air, freezing for a moment as he caught the scent of a kittypet. he followed the scent until he was stalking behind the tom. he did so for only a moment before leaping at the cat, yowling. "raah! kittypet!"

doeblossom's whiskers twitched in amusement, a chuckle in his throat. "so, ghostpelt, are you hungry? or too scared of getting your pretty little pelt dirty?" he made sure to keep a light, teasing tone to avoid offending.

he said, sighing softly and swishing his tail back and forth.

"alright, you'll follow me as quietly as you can and watch me hunt." falconcry sniffed the air, catching some sort of scent and turning to follow it. "watch what i do very carefully, you might need to feed yourself or others some day."

ferretpaw hissed, digging his claws into the kittypet's soft fur. "twoleg pet!" he spat. "what are you doing on cedarclan land?" a growl rumbled in his chest as he curled his lip away from his teeth.
