Vulpes Pack {After The Burning/Fox Rp}

A vixen’s ears shot up hearing the whines of her cubs, bolting up she looked over twoards were they lay. She gazed over seeing the red blazing heat, devouring one of her young. The mother raced twoards them grabbing the last survivor, she then made a mad dash for the den’s entrance. Leaping out of the den, the forest was covered in the burning flames. The vixen turned to her left hearing the rushing water, she saw the dangerous running water being the only way to escape the flames she bolted twoards it. Jumping in, she held her cub tightly while trying to swim with the current. Her head smacked a rock knocking the vixen unconscious, coughing up some water she slowly regained conciousness. Glancing to her side she began to panic as her cub was missing, looking up she saw her cub in the jaws of another the vixen gazed up with a thankful expression. The vixen who stood gazing down at the mother placed the cub down, “hello there and welcome to Vulpes pack!”

After the burning many foxes were pushed from their homes, or died. A few foxes realized that the human were only a danger and in order to out think them and survive they’d have to unite. They work together, helping any they come across. They despise human and do their best to defend their land, attack any of the hunting dogs that show up, because of the guns humans carry they avoid them at all costs!

𝓥𝓾𝓵𝓹𝓮𝓼 𝓟𝓪𝓬𝓴 𝓣𝓮𝓻𝓻𝓲𝓽𝓸𝓻𝔂

The territory is a large vally, with forest covering the east entrance to the territory. A lake surrounds the west entrance to the vally, to the north and south are the mountains which created the vally. In the center of the vally there are several dug out dens for the foxes to sleep in. Most of the foxes have dens of their own, unless they have Mates. The only foxes who all share a den are the mothers who have young no bigger than nine months, once they reach five or six months they can move out of the nursery into the family den. Then once about a year and a half they can make a den of their own!

Leaders~ there are four in toltal, these four are the makers of this pack, they have gathered several foxes to follow them! These four assign who trains which cub, they choose what category of defender a grainy with be placed in based on their skills. They make all the difficult decisions, and when they can’t agree on something they go to the Seer for help on making a decision or just for guidance.

Seer~ what the pack sees as their prophet, this fox has a unique appearance. They are blessed at birth with the knowledge of healing, using several different plants. Or other resources around the forest, they are wise and have the knowledge of the gods on their side. Many foxes go to the Seer for guidance, and they are so trusted that the leaders even go to them once in a while

Seer Trainy~ A young fox being trained to be the next Seer often having a unique appearance.

Defender~ Foxes who hunt, scout, and defend the pack. Defenders are separated into three catagories {Hunter/Scout/Guard}

Mothers~ Foxes who are expecting Cubs, or have had Cubs that are younger than 6 months.

Tranies~ Young foxes from the age of 5 or 6 months to a year and three months. They train for when they are old enough to be assigned a rank, they have trainers who are Assigned to them by the leaders.

Cubs~ Baby foxes who stay with their mother in the nursery from birth to the age of 5 or 6 months, then they become trainees and move into the family den.

Loners~ Foxes who have yet to come across Vulpes pack, or have chosen not to join when offered. They don’t pose a real threat, they just prefer to go solo.

Captured & Realesed~ Foxes who were captured by the humans, studied and then a tracker placed in their ear. Once they are completely looked over they are released back into the wild, some may be unlucky and get spayed or neutered depending on the human.
