Imagine a world where you have more than one chance at life, a world
where as long as your corpse is sufficiently intact, you can be revived. D
elphaye is such a place. Revivals are easily done, and is available to all o
f Delphaye's citizens no matter their rank. The Revival Centers are contr
olled by 'Ciel', a mysterious, omniscient being with blurry origins and no
physical body. To combat the issue of overpopulation, the Scythedom wa
s created. Scythes are essentially sanctioned killers whose purpose is to k
eep Delphayan populations to a manageable amount. The Scythedom is g
overned by Ciel, and is thus not under the Royal Court's purview. The oth
er side of Delphaye is the royalty and nobility. The Royal family known fo
r their strength, cunning and stubbornness as well as their beauty.

Delphae is ruled by its Royal family, and is largely divided into sections that ar
e in turn ruled by Kyrioi (singular Kyrios). This country is known for its military
prowess, vast history, immense influence and its world-changing advancement
s. Known as the God-blessed Land, Delphae's harvests are bountiful and its peo
ple healthy and content. An empire with a history of bloody war turned peace,
Delphaye is revered and only slightly less feared. Mostly closed off from the re
st of the world, it is the largest and most sprawling country there has ever bee
n. Filled with pale, towering spires, lovely gardens and bustling marketplaces,
Delphaye has a considerable wealth and is a peaceful land.

Delphaye's first two rulers were the former kings of Caraverre and Akeilles, two warring countries now merged through the Kings' d
etermination and love for each other. The Delphaye of today is a mix of Caraverre and Akeilles with its elegant marble structures,
vast, extravagant gardens and a compromise between Caraverre's strict and tightly laced clothing and Akeilles's loose, flowing chit
ons. It has been decades since the merging of Caraverre and Akeilles, and since then, there has been major changes, some of them
being the existence of Revivals, the Scythedom and Ciel. There are 52 Kyrioi for each of Delphaye's territories, each dealing with th
eir territory's disputes and they regularly report back to the Ruler about the state of their territories. The Kyrios of Palla is typically
also the Ruler's most trusted advisor or war general, while the other Kyrioi seats are divided between being hereditary and earned.
The Delphayan Royalty is famously beautiful and talented, all of them were either skilled in warfare, combat, politics, academics
and more. Being so closed off from the rest of the world, Delphaye is entirely self-sufficient thanks to its land, inventions and advan
cements, and Ciel.

Governed by Ciel, the Scythedom is the only thing in Delphaye that is not com
pletely under the Royal family's jurisdiction. The Scythedom is strictly monitor
ed to ensure that they are following the Scythe Commandments and are not a
busing their unique power. There are people and systems that has been put in
to place, some by the Royal Court and most by Ciel, to hold Scythes responsibl
e as well as to keep the Scythedom running smoothly.

In Verre Mountains lie the Witchlands, a place inhabited by people kn
own as witches. Mostly composed of women, for so few are born mal
e that the ones that are are called rare-borns, they are famed warrio
rs and inventors. The warriors are known as Ironteeth, and the invent
ors were called Crochans. There are three main witch covens: Blackb
ird, Blueblood, and Redhand, identified by the braided, leather strips
dyed in their clan colors adorning their foreheads and for the higher-
ranked ones, their colored cloaks and pins. The Witchlands are large
ly closed off from the rest of the world, it being entirely self-sufficie
nt and most witches only wandering outside of their lands if either on
a political mission or to find a male partner. These witches are known
for their unearthly beauty, extraordinary strength, retractable iron te
eth and claws, wyverns, and their near-immortality.

Each coven is lead by their matron. The matrons rarely involve themselves with their coven's personal matters however, leaving the more meni
al tasks to their heir and underlings. Instead, they mainly focus on internal politics and dealing with subjects outside of the Witchlands' direct
jurisdiction. The matrons act as advisors to the Witch-Queen, and are mostly aged and elderly with vast amounts of experience. The Witch-Qu
een is the Withclands' ruler. The position of Witch-Queen is inherited, and the Witch-Queen's line is known for their loyalty and devotion which
makes them excellent rulers as long as their dedication belongs to their people. The Queens are famed for their talent on the battlefield and st
riking looks, all golden eyes and pure-white or void-black hair. The Queens are descended from a now-extinct coven and Caraverre royalty, the
first Witch-Queen, a child of a rareborn and the heir of the Whitedame coven, marrying the magic-blessed King of Caraverre centuries ago. Per
tradition, the Queen is not associated with any coven more than another for her loyalty has to encompass the entirety of the Witchlands.

the origin:
[ 2001 ] On January 26, on her way to the hospital to give birth, a woman was caught in t
he Gujarat earthquake. She was killed, and her unborn child was found in her dead womb
alive and breathing, seeming perfectly healthy. This is the first flaired ever born.

[ 2004 ] Four-years-old started developing flairs all over the world. At first, there were o
ly 1 in 100 who were flaired, but gradually, more and more were flaired until the flairless
were the odd ones out.

the following events
Flaired were a novelty, simultaneously praised and hated. On one hand, these children ca
me right out of many's favorite superhero comics and movies, and people were fascinated.
However, many flaired were killed or hunted down, governments taking action after actio
n all with the ultimate goal of suppressing and controlling something new and unknown a
nd above all, feared. After the first Flair Resistance formed, the following century was fill
ed with fighting and death, each side determined and dead-set on their aims. Eventually,
the Resistance won thanks to their constantly increasing amount of supporters and allies.

[ 2103 ] Villains started surfacing which nearly sent the world into the complete, utter ch
aos that possessed it less than a decade ago. Some of the flaired started taking matters i
nto their own hands and becoming vigilantes, they were heralded as heroes. To prevent t
hese matters (the villains and vigilantes ones) from escalating, the Hero System was crea
ted.

The next decades were occupied by societies all over the world shifting and rearranging t
o further adapt to these changes. It wasn't until 2198 that matters reached a semblance
of normalcy and the world settled. People are happy, cities have been built are thriving
like they once did long ago, and new discoveries are made on a daily basis. Villains are st
ill out there, but so are heroes, and everything will be fine, surely time will heal this bat
tered and bloodied world's wounds now that there is finally time for it to rest.
