"Amazing job chikorita!" Kayta shouts. Chikorita chirps accepting the praise and flicks its leaf playfully to the rest of the team. Meditite, in response, runs up and happily chirps at chikorita,while vulpix playfully hits her with its bushy tails. "Alrighty then you ready to move on to the gym leader guys?" The pokemon yip in unison and walk into the gym behind kayta. "Hello? anyone in here? I'm kayta and I challenge the leader to a gym batter!"
At the very end of the gym.. there is someone waiting for you. He gives you a small smile.
"I can guess that you're here to battle me. Well, we'll see how this goes."
The battle begins. In an attempt to get some levels for your new pokemon, you send out your vulpix. Brock sends out a geodude. The two battle it out, but due to having an advantage, the vulpix is fainted.
You send out chikorita instead. The battle goes much smoother from there, and soon enough, you've gained your first badge!
"Well, congratulations!" Brock shakes your hand, and gives you the badge and a complementary tm.
