Personally, I somewhat find this kind of speak difficult to.... I don't know.... comprehend. I'm okay with it being used every now and then, but there's a limit...

Wolfspeak is so idiotic. You don't make up random words to sound fancy or creative. It makes no sense at all.

Here's a little secret of mine....
on one forum once, I tried to push some wolfspeakers to see how ridiculous my posts could get before they noticed/banned me. I tried adding completely made up words into my posts (e.g. ahh one of them was "clept"... there was.. "oudle"). No one noticed, or said anything.
That was a long time ago on a forum populated by 12 year olds though, so that was rather predictable xD Still had me in stitches.

What on earth does that even say? xD

Mmm, quite honestly Wolfspeak was how I first started to learn how to Advance Roleplay. It also helped me to become a better writer. I NEVER used Wolfspeak out of appropriate roleplays, but it helped me to become eager to expand my vocabulary.

Same. It made me a freak about prefixes and suffixes. Furcadia about five years ago... that's all there was. Four years later I haven't touched it again. My opinion about it has obviously changed since then. I don't prefer to read it let alone try and comprehend it. If there's too much, I'll laugh to myself and plain deny to acknowledge it.

Honestly all I really feel that I gained is the ability to decode it.

I honestly think that wolf/horsespeak is ridiculous. To me, it is nothing but a bunch of false terminology. Although sometimes it does become a little humorous.

Wolfspeak is used by writers (If they can be called that) who want to 'seem cool.' If cool is illiterate, then job well done.

Agreed :) It amuses me, and then it annoys me, and then I have to stop myself from screaming at them "Do you READ what you are writing?"

I'm not a Grammar Nazi =)

EDIT: This looks suspiciously like a rant, wolfspeak writers please don't eat me!

For some it probably is, but it's still giving your opinion. I'm just watching to make sure nothing gets too far, after all, they are what people think. I mean, I myself don't really HATE on people, but it DOES get very annoying and tiresome. I've just taken the habit to staying away from people that use Wolfspeak/Horsespeak.

Yeah. This may contradict my original post, but I don't hate the people, just the form of language used. :)
