Nico blinked as he looked at Mary with a tilted head as he did so."How does one make a game out of cleaning a bedrooms? Or scrubbing the floors?" nico sighed as he squirmed,"we could go talk to Mr. Stoker if you want, he hires everyone."nico smiled for a second at the thought of going to play, but quickly tried to hide that face,"s-sure we could do that if you want...But what is a blanket fort? And what kind of game?"

Mary • Nico

Mary pondered that for a moment before shrugging a little. “If I can work- I can show you how. Obviously i cwannit as oap’s rwoom isn’t messy.” He looked around before grabbing onto the little lamb plushie before shaking his head, “Pap told you to stay in here, and me too. Maybe we can go see Mr Stoker tomorrow?” He shrugged a little before glancing towards the closet. “I’ll show you..” He got up from the bed and walked over towards the closet, pulling out various blankets and a small wicker chair that he was able to carry all by himself. He placed that in front of the chest that sat at the foot of the bed. He et the blankets in the chest before retreating over towards the desk to grab the chair from there, but since the chair was larger than him, he struggled to get it over towards the other chair.

He nodded as his tail twotched, he had to admit his compliance to help Mary was sort of selfish, if he could get another person his age to work there, the perhaps he could prove that he could handle things like the adults could. A small frown came to his face. Followed by a very visable flinch," O-oh yeah, Mister Fal said that didn't he...s-so I have to stay here until he comes back? W-what if I fall asleep again?" he was taken a back as Mary got to work with the blankets and chair. He slowly put the stuffed animal in his shirt so its head and arms stuck out the neck hole of his shirt and slowly helped move the chair,"W-what should I do to help?

Mary • Nico

He turned his head over towards Nico, pondering his questions. “At least you are stuck with me, so you’ll never fall asleep.” He said as he yanwd a little. He smiled when Nico helped him with the big chair. Mary thought for a moment for a task for Nico to try can do. “Can you spread out a couple of blankets in the floor?” He asked as he retreated into the closet to get another wicker chair, placing it a little further from the two so it made a sort of triangle. He then looked at the neatly tucked red and black comforter. That could be used for the roof of the pillow fort. “After that, can you help me with the big blanket?”

Despite Mary's reassurance that he would never fall asleep, it was growing obvious that the boy was still tired, for he yawned himself. Slowly nodding he staeted to lay out blankets on the floor where Mary had instructed. He then slowly got off the floor and made his way back to the bigger blanket to wait further instructions

He smiled and then soon pulled the comforter from its corners before looking at Nico, “Help me pull this over the chairs.” Mary then made his way across the blankets, towards the lone chair, holding the corner of the comforter tightly so he didn’t drop it, otherwise the corner would try to retreat back to the bed.

      listening to cyrus the woman tried to figure out his words. why did he have to be so puzzling? speaking of mice and traps and foolish people. mulling over his words wendy wondered if the metaphor was referring to her? her being the mouse and him leading her into a trap. glancing over at the stranger wendy tried to read his expression but he gave away no answers in his body language. stiffening her posture wendy kept a careful eye on cyrus, now paranoid that he was leading her into a trap. however she didn't call him in case she was wrong or he tried to misdirect her even more, but she did try to play along. maybe the mouse knows how to set off the trap without getting killed. she commented. coming to a door wendy carefully turned the handle and cracked it open. the door led into a grand library with rows upon rows of towering shelving units and what wendy could only assume were thousands of books. damn, this place was beautiful from what she's seen of it so far. going to a door opposite of the library doors wendy slowly cracked it open. this door led into a bathroom! perfect! flipping the light switch on she hobbled over the sink. spike walked in after her and sat down beside the toilet. bending down in front of the sink she opened up the cabinet. the cabinet was full of toilet paper, hand towels, and shoved in the back was a first aid kit. wendy pulled the first aid kit out and stood up, placing it on top of the sink. opening it up she grabbed a roll of gauze, medical tape, and wound cleaning agent. then she washed her hands so they were clean while she was handling the open wound. well, to me spike is the best boy and most loyal dog. however it may be so that other dog owners think the exact same thing of their companion. it's all a matter of perspective. sitting down on the ground wendy rolled up her pant leg with a wince. hopefully the owners of the manor wouldn't mind a bloody floor. wiping the wound clean wendy wrapped her leg in gauze and taped it in place. that should do for now. rolling her pant leg back down wendy sighed and stood up. she placed the first aid kit back under the sink and washed her hands again this time to remove the blood. i feel like there'd be no difference between being held at gun point or sword point. either way the assailant can kill you quickly and mercifully, or slowly and painfully.

      with a glance over her shoulder stella watched as leslie ran off to where ever she needed to be at the moment. well, so much for trying to have fun. maybe she should stick to brooding in her room where there aren't people there to annoy her. moving her eyes back onto 'the rat', as she now refereed to jessica, stella's eyes narrowed at her words. the daemon was egging her on, looking to want a fight, and stella wouldn't mind a brawl. although she didn't feel in the mood to fight right now nor did she think the mechanic would let it happen. so instead stella grumbled, maybe another time, rat, just you and me with no-one else around. when the rat seemed to dismiss her presence stella turned on her heel and started back up the stairs. if she couldn't have any fun in the manor then she figured she should head out to the nearby town. there may be something to do there at least. making her way to her room stella grabbed some cash and stuffed it into the side pocket of her leggings. plugging her earbuds into her phone she set her music to shuffle. pulling the red hood of her hoodie over her head stella felt ready to head into town. making her way back through the manor stella found herself in the foyer once more. she offered a rude hand gesture to the rat before shoving the front door open and leaving. she moved across the lawn and found her way to the trail that led into the town. it wasn't long until stella found herself on the somewhat familiar streets of the human village. now, the question was, where to go and what to do?

      leading the way through the house and to the backyard evan opened the backdoor, holding it open for katie. the backyard was as expected to be, full of overgrown plants and decayed furniture. a wooden picket fence separated the woods from the garden. a stone path lead from the backdoor, through the center of the garden, and to the opposite end of the garden. to the immediate right were old wicker chairs and small round table that have fallen apart due to exposure to the elements. the wood lays decaying and on a pile on the ground. on the immediate left is a gardening box full of old gardening tools that have rusted over and serve no use any more. alos to the left is a gate that leads into a second garden, this one used to grow vegetables and fruits. in the main yard the grass is overgrown but not to a crazy degree. further into the yard on both side of the path flower bushes sprout from the ground ranging from roses to heather to bluebells. though the prized jewel of the garden, his mother believed, was the willow that wasn't actually in the garden, it was a little past the fence however it's branches and leaves fell over the fence and into the garden. little painted pots and stones were scattered around the garden. evans mother had made the garden years ago by grabbing native species from around and relocating them into the yard boundaries, other than the willow. she cared for the flowers like they were her children and they thrived long after she had passed. evan likes to believe that she's still caring for the flowers as spirit herself. even though they were always low on money she had also bought the pots and paints and allowed the children to paint the pots as well as some stones they found around the house. as evan stepped out into the garden memories came flooding back to him, hitting him like a truck. it had been a while since he had been in the backyard. here's the garden. the flowers attract butterflies and birds in the spring. he told her. this had always been his most favorite place to go. sometime evan would help his mother and sisters garden or pick flowers. his favorites were the bluebells. i used to sit back here and pick flowers with my sisters. he admitted, not exactly sure why he was sharing that information. i guess you can call me a flower child. he joked in his monotone voice.

I r e n e // F e m a l e // G a r g o y l e // M a i d // T a g s : Kiki , Open

Irene smiled and crossed her arms, content with how easy the transition to the manner has been so far. "Well, as long as you still want too, I would love to start the tour!" she glanced around at the many antique-looking doors and hallways awaiting them, wondering where Kiki would choose to take her first.

As she spun on his stiletto to look around, Irene felt a sharp pain shoot through her from her ankle, yet again being reminded of her crack. She mouthed a curse, wincing, before trying to compose herself as not to worry her new acquaintance.

She unfurled her wings, clearing her throat and turning to the kitsune confidently, "Oh, one more thing, would you mind if I flew, or more, glided for the tour? I hate to be a bother, but I did a rather thoughtless thing, and um-" she modestly pulled her stocking slightly to show her wound, which resembled a slight crack on an aging stone wall, with a kittle bit of crumbling and chipping forming around it, "Somehow managed to injure myself slightly."

||Larkin Stoker | 26 | Human | Head of Household | Homosexual | Location: Room | Tags: Franz||

Larkin didn't have enough time to even recognize where he was at when a huge bang sounded. Jumping to face the door, Lark let out a little yelp and didn't understand how his uncle already found his hiding spot. The first few bangs made him jump visibly and kind of gawk in horror. It didn't last long as his mind processed what was happening and looked around for something to barricade the door. He spotted a furniture piece that looked like a dresser and rushed over towards it, trying his hardest to push it as fast as he could to the door. It was a little hard at first, due to the carpet, but it did budge and slowly slide over.

||Adelia Lewis | 18 | Human | Maid | Heterosexual | Location: Library | Tags: Open||

Adelia had left the ballroom and strange guest behind a while ago and was now curled up in the library. Her favorite spot was on the sofa that was near the fireplace but not too close, obviously. It was comfortable and warm although sometimes she would get too hot if she sat there for too long. A book was in her hands and she was immersed in the story it was telling through the words on the pages. It was about four kingdoms that took place a long time ago with the history and stories about them. It was rather an interesting read so far, although she was still unsure if this was suppose to be true or if it was completely fiction.

||Deirdre Scarborough | Appears 25 | Spirit | Cook | Heterosexual | Location: Ballroom | Tags: Marc-Anthony||

Deirdre let herself be led to the willow tree by Marc and took in everything. As he spoke, Deirdre nodded her head slightly although she didn’t realize they could be more truly together. To her, they had already been at that level in their surrender state and would be that way for the rest of their existence. When Marc went down to one knee, she couldn’t comprehend what was happening in that moment. Tears started welling up in her eyes when he pulled out a little box and opened it, popping the question. “Y-Yes!” Deirdre managed to choke out, slowly moving her hand forward for him to slide the ring onto her ghostly finger. She was so used to being solid that it shouldn’t be a problem for her to have the ring on.

||Katheryne Grey | 19 | Werewolf | Homeless | Heterosexual | Location: Evan’s Cabin | Tags: Evan||

Katheryne followed the spirit to another door that lead to the hidden garden. Giving a slight nod of thanks, she walked past Evan as he held the door open for her once again. Glancing around, there was overgrown plants everywhere along with abandoned furniture and items. It was rather a sight to see, overlooking the rotting bits, and she was pleasantly surprised to see the plants were just native ones. This meant that she would not find her favorite flower but she didn’t exactly expect to either. Her golden eyes and focus slide over to Evan as he mentioned that the garden attracted life during the spring time. “I can’t really blame them. It’s already a nice place to be and rather relaxing, as you said earlier.” Nature usually made Katheryne more relaxed but the extra secluded area and more greenery helped a lot more. At the small memory he shared, sadness tugged at her heart a bit for the spirit at the fact that she knew that his sisters were long gone. In a way, she felt that pain but yet she thought he made a joke out of the memory anyway? She wasn’t entirely sure but decided to go with it as a small smirk played at her lips. “Well then, Flower Child, do you know how to make a flower chain as well? Like a daisy chain?” She asked with a raised eyebrow and playfulness laced her voice.

"miss mikazuki, i will take the silence as a notion for my pardoning. i hope i was of some use." leslie smiled warmly, something she was supposed to do despite the fact that mika could not see it. either way, it felt good. her shoes clicking quietly on the polished wooden floor of the ballroom on her way out. the doorway's ornate entrance, or in this case, exit, towered over leslie's short status, even with her suspiciously tall mary janes on. heck, it was hard to even classify them as mary janes. then again, what else would they be? a relative sort of the shoe, at least. nothing else fit the specifications quite as well as the mary jane. either way, enough about shoes. passing the golden painted archway of an entrance/exit, the similar polished wooden floors continued into the hallway from the ballroom. the doors to the ballroom were usually open until a little past midnight. the doors were a polished wood painted white that had a golden trim. they reached the top of the arch, of course.

leslie's shoes continued clicking against the floor, a smile still upon her face. 'now, where to go? no guest needs assistance as far as i can tell, but i don't get paid to socialize. either way, i don't want to hire myself... and the books in the library are somewhat repetitive and humdrum for my tastes. i guess i'll wander around the halls until i find something to do.' she thought as she brushed an excess part of curly hair from her loosening ponytail away from her face. this was when leslie began wandering the rooms and halls of different floors in the manor. it had only been a few minutes before leslie had completely explored a floor. the stairs where challenging with her current shoes, but she usually managed and now was no exception. it wasn't long before leslie heard a somewhat familiar clicking of shoes. though it was weird, she could easily tell the difference between the clicking of one shoe versus another. this is why leslie hated when people wore new shoes. this was the shoe of... the newish butler. facilier, his name was? he had only been here two weeks, but that was still fairly respectible. really, the fact that he signed up for butler was brave. signing up for a butler position is like signing up for years and years of being someone's puppet for favors. either way, experienced or not, leslie followed the clicking noise until she saw the man. "um... hi. i'm leslie, not sure if you know me or not, but i'm a butler as well. um..." leslie laughed nervously, not sure of what to say next. this guy seemed just as lost as she currently was. should she help him? she wanted to, but she really didn't know what she could tell him.
